A Backstory on Serial Entrepreneur Edmond Barseghian

Edmond Barseghian is a key figure when it comes to Car Business and Real Estate. He was born in Iran and his story began when he was six months old when there was war between Iran and Iraq. This war made his family flee to Sweden as refugees.

The Come Up

Edmond and his family moved to the US when he was ten years old. However, right before they moved, a brand new Swedish car company called Koenigsegg had just made their first exotic car concept, and the news was making headlines. They had 30-minute documentary-like news, and Edmond was fascinated while watching the video.

That is when he decided that that was going to be his life.

Edmond wanted to start his own car company. He wanted to be the next Koenigsegg. This Swedish company had sparked the light in him to have a business-related to cars. Edmond moved from Sweden to LA and went to study Microbiology. Initially, he was supposed to go to Pharmacy School.

Getting Into Exotic Car Business

Edmond was driven into the Exotic car business because of passion. When he was three years old, he would point at cars whenever he was on his fathers’ shoulders. He would then name the make and model it. He would then watch Formula One races with his father.

Additionally, Edmond could also watch the Ayrton Senna race. As he grew up, his passion for watching car races increased.

Edmond got involved in a car business when he first bought his first exotic car. He bought himself a Lamborghini when he was 24 years old after working out on some huge contracts. In Sweden, his dream car was a red Lamborghini, which he had a poster of. He has since had supercars, and in 2015 he bought his B12 Lamborghini. It was a Murcielago lp640, orange in color. He wanted a red one, but it was the only red one in the whole world.

Finally, Edmond had made it, but he kept his vision even more remarkable.

Owning A Car Company

Edmond’s dream was to have at least a hundred million dollars to build his own car company. That is what he thought. Together with his partner, they began building their own Boutique hypercar company, where they started as a kit car. Houston was an Alfa Romeo chassis with the engine and others like the Frankenstein car. They both put in more money and started building their chassis, their engine, and like carbon fiber crazy. They became a legit contender against Koenigsegg. It was supposed to be a six-month project, but they are ticking along the lines and making the car better and better because they are paying their name behind it. So the car in Italy has engineered art designs in Italy. Edmond sold his Avant-gardeXotics last year. He then moved to Vegas.

One time after the great recession of 2008, Edmond was reading a newspaper. He realized the oil market had tanked prices had plummeted down to 32 dollars a barrel from the previous highs of 114. Banks weren’t giving out loans to buy Wells or oil fields.

So, Edmond figured out that it was the best opportunity to hop on the oil-filled business. So he sold four out of the five two companies. He preserved one so that he would have at least somewhere to turn to just in case things failed. A year later, he sold the remaining one. He had a bunch of money and started investing in Real Estate in Florida.

Edmond’s Real Estate Business

Edmond found a business partner with whom he could work and split the profits. He started building a bunch of low-income housing In Florida. Edmond decided to build low-income housing for kids that grow up in the same background. I.e. for struggling parents, immigrants, etc. That is what they built in Southwest Florida. They build 40 to 60 houses at a time as well as communities.
