Gamification and Incentives: How Legacy Networks Motivate Users to Accomplish More?

A technology that collects the same data but gives it to the user in playful stepwise guidance on how to use the newly acquired knowledge.

Why is it that many individuals get exhausted and less enthusiastic when it comes to working on themselves or personal development but not when he/she is playing a video game for 4 -6 hours straight? Ever wonder why Netflix, video games, or partying with friends is not boring or seems like the most difficult task to do? Or why does preparing for the entrance exams feel tiresome? The answer to all this is the environment and the approach we take to perform a particular task. There is a way by which anyone can work on any kind of task without feeling too burdensome about it and that is Legacy Networks.

About Legacy Network

Legacy Networks, based in Liechtenstein, has created an app powered by the world’s first artificial intelligence that analyzes various aspects of a user’s personality and returns the collected data to them. Legacy Networks, founded by Fabio, is a technology that collects the same data but gives it to the user in playful stepwise guidance on how to use the newly acquired knowledge. To understand the approach Legacy Networks take, let’s take self-esteem as an example: No matter how many people tell you to believe in yourself, it will remain elusive unless you have this internal feeling.

To achieve self-esteem, you must first accomplish certain goals that genuinely give you a sense of pride in yourself. Otherwise, nothing will happen unless you take an active role. You must begin to accumulate small victories, each one increasing your self-confidence and bringing you closer to a sense of pride. Legacy Networks aims to provide a road map for turning insights into actions. As a result, many of these mechanisms are simple to explain and once converted into a logical structure, can be used to improve your development journey exponentially.

From Theory to Practice

Legacy Networks’ teaching method has three steps: Comprehending, taking observations, turning them into manageable tasks, and experimenting and incentivizing. It provides the information and data that support an important concept or idea which will assist the user in understanding the most recent consensus on the topic and its different components. Having gained theoretical knowledge is not enough until and unless its practicality is known to you.

This is a critical component of Legacy Networks because they believe it is woefully lacking in the traditional education sector. Legacy Networks provide practical steps, daily activities, and other tasks to help the user gain a personal understanding of the theoretical concept. Even if practical knowledge exists, everyone needs a little push to experiment and accomplish more. Legacy Networks believes in this theory and that is why they incorporate incentive structures such as quizzes, challenges, XP, and rewards to give individuals that “push”.

Gamified Social Learning

Legacy Networks values social interaction. Working alone on anything can be tedious for most people. The system we are developing can be described as gamified social learning, meaning it is both gamified and social. It allows you to connect with people who share your goals, faces similar challenges, and strive for similar outcomes. When you have a community that holds you liable, motivates you, and does not allow you to make convenient explanations, you will be pushed forward. This is essential in the sense of both support and competitiveness.

To acquire knowledge in a playful approach, Legacy Networks is the platform for it.
