Kevin Lo, the YouTube Fitness Sensation in 2021 The Ups and Downs of Being an Entrepreneur

It is an undeniable fact that the internet has disenfranchised young entrepreneurs from corporate rules. Regardless of your age, you can achieve your dreams if you have the drive and determination. Kevin Lo from Oak Park, California, is perhaps the best recent example of this. He was born in the States on January 5, 1992.

The YouTube Journey and Business Model
I have been following Kevin Lo for a while on his YouTube fitness channel. Let me tell you that the pace of his progress during the last 4-5 years is quite inspirational for all the millennials out there. Kevin worked on his ideas and business plans for quite some time. He now runs a global distribution network of water purification ionizers. He is not only making huge profits but also serving humanity in the best possible way.

Actions Matter!
Whether you are broke or rich, the concept of leaping from your current net worth to a hundred million dollars is something that likely passes through your mind as you drift off to sleep every night. But with each passing year, this thought fades into obscurity. It was not the case for Kevin, as he kept working on his dreams and was pretty clear about what he wanted to do in his life, right from his early teenage years.

It Takes Persistence
Consistency matters a lot in almost every field of our life, but its importance becomes more pronounced when we set upon the journey of achieving our lifelong goals. Kevin never looked back throughout his entrepreneurial career. He chose his career path quite early in his life, which was the health and fitness niche. Kevin started by setting up his YouTube channel and posting videos about everyday health care and workouts. But to stand out from the rest of the fitness content, he had to come up with a unique approach. After substantially working on different ideas, he shaped his content to be so casual and practical that everyone can learn from it.

His Unique Approach
Unlike the rest of the run-of-the-mill fitness content on the web, he focuses on delivering real value to his clients and the general masses. You can learn everyday diet tips, diet plans, nutrition charts, and workout routines from his videos. Plus, if you are intrigued about how this young and inspiring entrepreneur spends his days and nights, you can always visit his Instagram. You can see him driving Lambos and exotic cars but make no mistake that all this has a lot to do with his years of hard work. Things were not always this pleasant for young Kevin. He had to pave his path to success and glory by burning the midnight oil. Businesses, either commerce or social media influencing, don’t start making fat stacks in a couple of days. You need to invest your time and money in the beginning, the same way you water a young plant.

Entrepreneurship is a Lifestyle!
As opposed to a job, entrepreneurship is a lifestyle. In most corporations, the workday begins at 8 a.m and ends at 5 p.m. You won’t get to see any such thing as being an entrepreneur. You need to be available every day of the week, round the clock. Many months may pass before you receive a paycheck. Building a business is like raising a child as opposed to working a regular 9-to-5 job. Kevin knew all this stuff right from Day-1.

Water Ionizers Distribution Network
Talking about Kevin’s water ionizers distribution business, there is a lot of effort that went into it. You see, entrepreneurship requires three prerequisites. The first is that your business plan or idea should be viable and practical in the long run. A+ teams can successfully implement the majority of business plans. A+ business models, on the other hand, will be difficult to implement by C-grade teams. Therefore, a motivated and enthusiastic team is essential. And the last one is persistence. There will be hard times in life. There’s no denying that things are tough right now. It takes perseverance to succeed as an entrepreneur. You should not go for it if you do not have this characteristic.

Stay Strong!
You would have heard Coldplay’s “Fix you”! At one point, the lyricist says that sometimes you do your best. Still, things do not work out for you. In that case, all you have to do is stay strong. Things will make sense eventually. Take the lemons in life and turn them into lemonade. Kevin Lo is a serial entrepreneur with the same success story. He has always turned hardships into opportunities by not letting his spirits drop.

Abdullah Raaj is the founder of Ventures Bite, a global digital marketing agency. He is a serial entrepreneur and an expert in the field of Development and Marketing, and is considered a “Marketing Specialist" by his peers.
