A couple of years ago, Lena Elkins was working at your typical 9-5 full-time job. Pretty soon she found herself loathing her position and wishing to start something of her own. She quit her job and within a month was completely broke. Little by little she started to get back on her feet, and began to secure clients of her own. Unfortunately she soon found herself in the same situation she was in when she had a job. Instead of having one boss who basically governed her life, she now had ten mini bosses who treated her like an inexperienced freelancer! This sudden realization caused her to take ownership of her personal brand, and invest the necessary time and effort to position herself as an authority. Today she is a millennial business and marketing coach that helps entrepreneurs scale their impact and personal brand through high level marketing.

On this episode of the Disrupt Podcast we interview Lena Elkins, CEO, Lena Elkins Coaching about how she traveled from San Fransisco to Tel Aviv, Israel and ended up fostering the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country. Lena is a Millennial Business + Marketing Coach based in San Francisco and Tel Aviv. Lena runs the popular Facebook group, Millennial Go-Getters, and has been featured in various publications for her work in the entrepreneurial space.
