Three Habits that made IdreesKickz a Successful Businessman by Age 19

Edris Hashimi (aka IdreesKickz) is the poster boy for business success. From age 13, he has consistently been dedicating his resources to e-commerce. Today, he is only 19 years old, yet he has amassed success that many adults are yet to achieve.

However, this success did not appear overnight. IdreesKickz started his first business buying and selling things online. However, he did not yet have the culture of saving and he was constantly running out of cash. In 2015, he turned to his long-time hobby of collecting rare sneakers and he realized he could transform it into a business. He started by buying rare edition Yeezy, Jordans, and Nikes, and reselling them to friends and family for a profit.

From that point, things started looking up for IdreesKicks and his brand, Woiair. He has been able to scale the business and now makes income in multiple figures from it.

Here are the top three things that IdreesKickz did right to grow his business into a success.

Like many other entrepreneurs, IdreesKickz had his fair share of challenges while trying to grow his business. From dealing with clients who went ghost without paying, to having trouble with his website, IdreesKickz has definitely seen a lot of hard times.

However, the one habit he has practiced that sets him apart from other entrepreneurs is staying consistent. “I  have faced obstacles many times but I never give up on my business,” he shares.” Whenever there’s a problem, the first thing I do is to find the best solution for it, then fix the problem without any excuses.”

One of the shortcomings of many entrepreneurs is sticking to one single way of doing business. To succeed in the fast-paced business world of today, you must be flexible and willing to go through different methods to reach your goals.

For IdreesKickz, he was greatly affected by the COVID_19 pandemic and the restrictions it placed on international and domestic shipping. However, he was quick to seek an alternate route to deliver to him customers.

“A lot of times during the lockdown and even post-lockdown, shipping has been closed and restricted. This made it very hard to deliver to customers, but I discovered DHL could still help with shipping and I was able to fix that problem by going that way.”

IdreesKickz is a big believer in the power of positive energy, and the influence it can have on business.

“I always say the only way you can overcome any hardship or difficulty is with your own energy and how you let it control you. Focus on the positive things and let yourself naturally gravitate towards activities that will elevate you forward.”

Bonus Tip

IdreesKickz believes the only way to achieve anything is through patience and hard work. “Have patience because patience is the key to unlock everything. Everything takes time to grow. Value your time and work hard for your goal.”
