10 Reasons To Buy Refurbished Network Equipment

Cisco witch

There are a variety of devices that make up parts of a network, such as firewalls, routers, memory, switches, VoIP phones, modules, and wireless products. All of this hardware comes at a price and once you get started you can add all of this, even a simple network can be quite expensive.
There are some employers who would prefer to buy only new network equipment because of the accompanying warranty. Other employers want to buy used network equipment to save some money. Although you or your business may be convinced that new equipment is the way to go, there are a few reasons to buy cisco refurbished switch for your network.

Reason # 1
Buying used network equipment will allow you to save between 50% and 90% compared to new ones from the distribution. When some entry-level OEM switches like Cisco, Extreme, and Juniper cost around $ 2000, this could equate to a huge savings

Reason # 2
Like when you buy a new car, the depreciation of the distribution’s new network equipment begins immediately after your purchase. Therefore, you are guaranteed to lose money on your purchase the moment you receive the delivery and even more when you break the seal on the box.

Reason # 3
Network equipment resellers offer excellent warranties, friendly customer service, and excellent technical support. In fact, many have CCNA, CCNP, CCIE certified engineers on staff or hired to help you.

Reason # 4
Network equipment resellers fully test all equipment upon receipt and often again prior to shipment. In many cases, they have equipment failure rates that are much lower than new distribution equipment. This will give you peace of mind when it comes to installation and will make sure your project gets up and running on time.

Reason # 5
Network equipment resellers offer third-party vendor alternatives on things like memory, SFP, and cables that can save you even more money. These products are manufactured by the same manufacturers and to the same specifications as the OEM brands with their label.

Reason # 6
Network equipment resellers offer exchange programs so that you can exchange your existing equipment for network hardware that best meets your current and future needs.

Reason # 7
By buying used network equipment, you save money, stay within budget, and can purchase additional hardware or products with enhanced features. The money saved can be reinvested in the business, for example by hiring additional staff or buying additional machinery. All of which will increase the profitability of your business

Reason # 8
Buying used network equipment is also good for the environment. These sorts of equipment can leak hazardous materials and may be very harmful to the environment. Additionally, these purchases can be used to offset your COfootprint. As no new items are being produced to fulfill your order, this means an overall reduction in CO2 emissions.

Reason # 9
Network equipment resellers often have products that the OEM considers EOL (end of life) and they plan to phase out. These are great products that the OEM no longer wants to produce or endorse in the long run, so they can make you spend more money on a new model.

Reason # 10
Network equipment resellers have large supply chains from which to source and ship products. This means that you can get the product you want in the amount of time you need. No more waiting 4-6 weeks for delivery.
