Text and Email like a BOSS

If your in business you need clients. So many ways to acquire new business. So many are so busy with the multitude of social media platforms, networking, AI, and zoom coffees they have forgotten the purpose of a phone. Text and Email like a BOSS Tammy Williams goes back to basics.

She worked in the boiler room style sales environment. She made the dreaded cold call her friend securing clients solely by telephone to garner sales, land in-person meetings/appointments and get people to return a phone call – get people on the phone…. yup Talk with people, have a real conversation.  Now there’s a thought speak with people, not to reply but to hear. Haha which is something most shy away from, they think if they post, pay for advertising, do podcasts, fb lives, tic toc videos the clients will come rolling in.  For some this may happen but for the masses this is not the case.
Tammy has worked in sales/marketing for several decades. She helps individuals new to entrepreneurship or working towards thriving in an unpredictable economy along with businesses that have transitioned from brick and mortar to click and order.  Starting with the dire cold call booking appointments for vacuum sales representatives, she learned how to excite people and encourage them to see that they needed a vacuum. Moving into the staffing industry and selling temporary placement services in the general labor space wasn’t easy at first, tears, discouragement and not meeting goals fueled her fire to want to succeed.

It’s there that she realized every NO was getting her closer to a YES! Once she turned the phone into her friend and changed the way she thought of no’s she started building a name for herself as a savvy salesperson. When working in the office they would say they always knew when she was in the office because the phone would start ringing.

This began to spill over to emails that were getting her an over 65% return rate.
Organically she started training staff how to write inviting emails with a punch. Developing compelling email campaigns became one of her specialties.
Here are 3 tips from her top 12 not to shelve.
Keep it short
Be aware of your tone
Subject line is key; it has to grab your prospects’ attention.

Tammy has been asked to be a guest on Sales shows, Podcasts. She has been a speaker at an NFT Summit and various women summits. She brings her decades of sales experience to the International Business Students she has mentored for the past two years. Her thoughtful creative marketing skills has landed her a role in the Advisory Board for registered Ontario charity for Cameras for Girls to assist with their marketing.

Known for her compelling emotion evoking content she is able to create marketing strategies that make you stand out. She believes playing small in business is like being in your office with the lights off.
Her passion for helping people had her start a Walk a Mile in her shoes campaign several years ago and has been able to collect over 500 pairs of ladies new and gently worn footwear which has been donated to various places in Durham region.
