2022 Marks 25 Years of Excellence for Scott Bain Judge and Attorney

. This year marks the Silver Jubilee of Scott E Bain as a member of the Minnesota bar, his first bar admission.   

 

Scott E Bain is a well reputed attorney and a former judge in Arlington, Virginia. He is celebrating his 25th anniversary as a member of the Minnesota bar this year. Scott has served as an adjunct professor, attorney, and patent judge for years. He has done his specialization in the fields of intellectual property and corporate law. 

 

In 1997, Scott Bain Judge attended Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, J.D. After completing his education, he started his career in copyrights, intellectual property, and patents. Scott has worked in several positions during these superb two and a half decades of service. He served as Principal at the Bain Law Offices (Washington, DC); Administrative Patent Judge (APJ) at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO); and Partner, Wiley Rein (Washington, DC). Scott E Bain has great love for education which made him work as a Lecturer at Catholic University for a couple of years. 

 

Scott E Bain presents vast experience in a myriad of areas that makes him a sought-after speaker on intellectual property, litigation, and entertainment law topics. He has delivered a number of thought provoking lectures on the above mentioned topics too. Scott is frequently called upon to provide insightful analysis on current legal issues by multiple credible platforms. During the last 25 years, he has become a leading voice in the field of intellectual property law.

  • A volunteer lawyer at the Children’s Law Center in Washington, DC
  • Part of the Boards of the American Bar Association and the Minnesota State Society 

 

Scott E Bain has also represented pro bono clients on issues relating to housing and employment benefits.
