5 SEO Hacks for a Solid Online Presence

SEO is an important part of any online business presence. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, and it refers to the process of optimizing your website so that it can rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs), like Google, Yahoo, or Bing. SEO hacks are techniques used by SEO professionals to improve a site’s ranking. In this blog post, we will discuss 5 SEO hacks that you should implement on your website to get better rankings!

1. Change Your Internal Links for HTTPS

As more people use mobile devices with weakened security protocols, hackers have begun targeting unencrypted websites as easy targets due to the lack of security. When you first launch your new website, SEO professionals recommend changing all the links on your site to point to the “HTTPS” version instead of insecure “LINK” URL so that Google can crawl and index them properly. This will give Google a better understanding about what pages are linked together, making it easier to build an accurate map about how different sections in your website relate with each other.

2. Write About Topics Not Keywords

SEO professionals say that SEO is no longer about using the right keywords. Instead, SEO has become more of a topic-based marketing where you discuss topics and engage with your audience in order to earn authority for certain subject matters. Google typically prefers it when people write articles or blog posts that include various types of content such as text, images, infographics and videos because they give search engines signals about what the page is all about.

3. Check the Cache

SEO professionals also recommend checking the cache on Google, Yahoo and Bing to see what SEO content is indexed. If you discover that your SEO efforts are not working as well as expected, get in touch with a SEO professional. There may be issues preventing search engines from crawling or indexing all of your website’s pages properly.

4. Always Sign a Contract

When you are hiring SEO professionals, make sure you sign a contract. SEO contracts are important because they prevent SEO companies from making any promises that your website will rank higher without providing results first. Even better, ask for an SEO audit of the SEO company’s past work to determine if their strategies have been successful in the past. Signing an SEO contract can get full transparency on the SEO techniques used. SEO companies typically offer SEO contracts, which are legally binding documents where they agree to follow certain rules and regulations set forth by your business in return for receiving monthly payments from you. SEO companies typically have strict SEO contracts, which is why you should always read them before signing anything.

5. Use a Simple, Readable URL Structure

If users are having difficulties visiting your website’s pages due to SEO URLs with many different parameters, SEO professionals recommend using a simple URL structure that is easier for both users and search engines crawlers. Stay away from SEO URLs that include many different parameters, and instead try to use SEO URLs with easy-to-understand keywords. Additionally, make sure the SEO URL is not long because it will decrease your page’s click through rate (CTR) on SERPs!
