Meet Sachin Negi 

Sachin Negi has been in the Indian Digital Marketing space for more than three years now. With immense experience on how digital marketing can work for a particular business, Sachin says that it is all about getting the basics right. Sachin completed BCA from IP college in New Delhi, India after which he went onto building his own business Grow Your Traction in the Digital Marketing Space. When asked what should someone consider before starting out in the Digital Marketing Space, Sachin talked about his seven secret formula to ace the Digital Marketing space.

 

1. Get your Basics right

Sachin says that most of the young digital marketing entrepreneurs venture into the field without understanding the basics. He says that it is crucial to know the basics well before making a dive into the business of digital marketing. He said that he learnt his basics by putting his learnings to practice and also emphasizes on the fact that practicing what you learn in digital marketing can open you up to undiscovered potentials.

 

2. Know your outcome

Marketing is all about planning with knowing your outcome. Sachin says that knowing the outcome would play a crucial role especially in Digital marketing. He says that most companies that plan on digital marketing want an assured outcome and that can only happen when you really know what your outcome is going to be.

 

3. Know your audience

Digital marketing is marketing in the digital space. Everything remains the same but only the means through which it happens is going to differ. The essence of any good marketing is in understanding the audience persona and the same goes with Digital marketing.

 

4. Educate your clients

Digital marketing being a relatively new space means that most of your clients can have misled information. He says that the key to getting amazing clients to work with is to educate and talk them through the whole process. Educated Clients=Happy clients.

 

5. Plan your budget carefully

Marketing involves money. So, this means that you must be in a position to understand your expenditure involved whilst planning the budget. This is crucial to any digital marketing campaign as a mistake here can cost you from your own pocket. So, it is always advised to tread carefully with your budget.

 

6. Build a Network

The secret to building a business in Digital Marketing is to have a network to support you. Sachin says that his network has helped him in cracking many big deals and says that it is also important to give back to your network. It can be in the form of referrals, service guidance or assistance.

 

7. Be a Video Review-Freak!

Reviews and testimonials go a long way in making sure you get continuous business especially in the Digital Marketing space. Sachin advices to get video testimonials from your clients as they 10X the impact created when compared to written reviews.
