“It´s just a thought… an idea…a feeling of my mind”!
We sometimes underestimate the power of our thoughts. The National Science Foundation says that an average person has up to 60 000 thoughts per day and 80% are negative and 95% are repetitive thoughts.
Our mindset is influencing our day to day life. Having a positive active mental attitude will help you to enjoy every single moment and achieve your goals. Our mind is continuously impacting us and we should be aware of it.
In our world, we receive a lot of negative news all the time through the news and social media. We are closely connected and up to date to all things happening around the globe. In the time of modern technology, it is even more important to take care of your thoughts and mindset to stay positive and optimistic.
Check out 7 tips to achieve a positive mental attitude!
Focus on the good things
Most of the news we get nowadays are focusing on negative things happening in the world. For you it is time to focus on the good moments in your life! Start your day with a positive thought, wish or memory, write a positivity-diary and surround yourself with people who have a positive and happy mindset.
Take bad situations with humor
We all face bad situations sometimes. We cannot avoid them totally. Important is, how we deal with them. Try to learn how to handle those situations. For some people, it helps to take it with humor to not get hurt. Others manage it with a clear logical mind without any emotions. Find out a way for yourself to deal with bad situations and turn them down in a way that let you grow for bigger challenges.
In the comfort we live, we forget about being grateful for the things we actually have. Most of the time, we focus on the things we didn’t achieve or didn’t get till now. To actively realize what we have and practicing gratitude will help us increase our mental positivity because we learn to be happy and fulfilled with what we are and have.
Learn from your failures
A basic skill of every human should be to analyze and understand their failures to learn from them and make it better the next time. Learning from our failures is the most intense way to grow and develop your personality. In the first step, it might be the hardest thing but later it will turn out to be a very good way to become the best version of yourself.
Stay in the present
We tend to fall back in the past and think about our memories over and over. We try to imagine and plan our future and how we can change it. Being busy with that, we easily forget to live the present. Being in the moment will take away your hustle and anger of the future and will take away the depression or euphoria of the past. Being in the present gives you a lot of positivity and stability.
Work on your acceptance
We cannot change everything and everyone. Sometimes we have to accept things and people the way they are. Teach yourself to use your acceptance. It gives you peace and freedom. It will take away the pressure and gives you the confidence to let be and the calmness to be positive.
Strengthen your resilience
Being resilient is a tool to push and strengthen your positive mindset. Resilience makes you strong and comfortable for every situation you will have to face. It gives you the confidence that you can manage everything because your mindset is strong and positive.
Having positive thoughts will make you feel good on a mental and physical base. Never underestimate your mind. Control your thoughts and use them as a tool to lift your life to a higher happy and confident standard level.
