A New Era of Privacy: Cosmic Phone LvL 50

In today’s digital age, privacy and security have become major concerns for smartphone users around the world. Unbeknownst to most smartphone users, every tap, swipe, click and even every pixel leaves behind a trail of personal data that can be misused. Most of the time, this information is used for the annoying purpose of creating targeted ads. However, there have been cases where the personal information that the user thought was protected, is used for alarming purposes, such as hunting and identity theft.

Let’s talk about a few recent instances of data breaches that have dominated the headlines recently thanks to smartphone vulnerabilities:

Apple and Google data collection practices

Earlier in 2023, a Mozilla study examined the data collection practices of the 40 most-downloaded apps on the Google Play Store. Out of these 40 apps, 80% had inconsistencies between their privacy policies and the information listed on the Play Store. The apps in question include Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter.

These apps track user activity for unclear purpose and were found to be in violation of the companies’ app store policies. What’s even worse, some apps hadn’t even provided information on their data collection practices.

Xiaomi’s data collection practices

In 2020, smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi was accused of collecting extensive data on users. This included browsing history and other personal information. The company later issued a statement acknowledging the issue and promising to make changes to its data collection practices.

Samsung’s Bixby privacy concerns

In 2019, Samsung users discovered that Bixby, Samsung’s voice assistant, was collecting audio recordings of users without their knowledge or consent. The company later issued an apology and promised to improve its privacy policies.

How the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 addresses these concerns

When you examine the industry’s history of collecting and using personal information without consent, it’s no surprise that smartphone users are getting more concerned about data protection. This situation sets the perfect stage for a solution like the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 – the first Swiss-made smartphone focused on privacy and security.

The phone features a custom operating system, CosmicOS. The operating system has been designed from the ground up to prioritize user privacy and security, with features such as an isolated and secure area in the application drawer to control permission applications and a native operating system. These features ensure that the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 is one of the most secure smartphones on the market today.

How the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 gives users control of their data

One of the key features of the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 is its emphasis on user control. Unlike many other smartphones, the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 does not collect any user data by default. Instead, users are given complete control over what data is collected and when. This means that users can use their favorite apps and services without sacrificing their privacy. For example, if a user wants to use a fitness app that tracks their location, they can choose to allow the app to access their location data, but only for the duration of the workout. Once the workout is complete, the app will no longer have access to the user’s location data.

Quality control guarantees

The Cosmic Phone LvL 50 is assembled and installed in Switzerland and the operating system has been developed in-house. This gives the company 100% control over all aspects of the phone. In other words, there are no backdoors or other vulnerabilities that could be exploited by hackers or other malicious actors. Additionally, the phone is made with high-quality materials and features a sleek, modern design that is sure to appeal to users who want a phone that is as beautiful as it is effective.

Basic functionality

The Cosmic Phone LvL 50 is not just a phone for privacy and security enthusiasts. The phone has been designed to be used exactly like a standard smartphone. This means that users do not have to compromise on functionality and convenience in order to enjoy the benefits of increased privacy and security. The phone supports all the standard applications and services that users have come to expect from a smartphone, including e-banking, messaging, social media and more. Users can download their favorite applications and services without any issues.

The issue of compatibility

One of the biggest challenges facing privacy-focused smartphones is compatibility with existing apps and services. Many apps and services rely on data collection in order to function properly, and eliminating that data collection can cause issues. However, the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 has been designed to work seamlessly with all of the major apps and services,

This way, users can enjoy their favorite apps without sacrificing their privacy. This is possible through a combination of user-controlled data permissions and built-in technology that protects user data while still allowing apps to function properly.

App drawer

The phone comes with a highly intuitive app drawer that separates applications into two zones – the “Dolphin Zone” and the “Shark Zone.” The “Dolphin Zone” is home to applications from the native app store – apps that have been built with user privacy and security in mind. The “Shark Zone” offers smartphone owners a secure way to download and install non-native apps from other platforms like the Play Store. All apps stored in the “Shark Zone” fall under the same privacy rules.

The Cosmic Phone LvL 50 is set to officially launch on March 20th on Indiegogo. The company plans to begin shipping the first devices in June of this year.

The phone is expected to be priced competitively with other smartphones on the market, making it an attractive option for users who are concerned about their privacy and security.

Overall, the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 represents a new era of smartphone privacy and security. With its focus on user control, advanced technologies, and sleek design, the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 is poised to revolutionize the smartphone industry. As concerns about privacy and security continue to mount, the Cosmic Phone LvL 50 is a refreshing alternative for users who want to take control of their data and protect their personal information from prying eyes.
