A Real Estate Agent Who Knows the Fraser Valley Market Like The Back Of Her Hand

That realtor is Jaspreet Kaur from eXp Realty. She’s an expert in the real estate market who pays special attention to her client’s unique needs and preferences. Jaspreet tells us more, “I was a full-time Graphic and web designer before becoming a Real Estate Agent. I was usually working from Monday to Friday and the weekend off. I started working in a Media Company in Delta, BC July 2011 on a part time basis as an entry-level designer. But within a few couples of months, I became one of their best employees. Due to my hard work, honesty, and dedication towards work they promoted me to Design Head in a year or so. That office became like a family to me till today I talked to them and visited them often.” 


It was this propensity for helping others, together with the passion for her community and the real estate market that led Jaspreet to begin a career as a real estate agent “After completing a transaction, when my client says it is one of the best decisions of their life to choose me to represent them as their Real Estate agent is my primary goal. Their smiles, satisfaction gave me the strength to do much better in my next deal.”


She continues, “I am not working to earn money. I try to do my job honestly and always keep my client’s interest ahead of me. In the end, if they are happy with my services, I am happy. I do remember one recent incident where one of my clients whom I helped refinance their mortgage at a lower rate than what they are paying before. He and his family gave me countless blessings which I think I could not forget in my life. My goal is my client’s satisfaction, nothing comes in front of that. My competition is with me, I am trying to better myself each day.”


We then asked Jaspreet to tell us more about her goals, “From the very first day, my goal is to focus on my client’s needs, guide them and provide them the advice in the home buying process and still, it is the same but now I am more focused and knowledgeable in the field,” She explained.


But what makes Jaspreet’s story so special for her clients is her ability to adapt for any client. Guided by a strong work ethic, commitment to honesty and an energetic personality, Jaspreet puts her clients’ needs at the top of her priority list and is driven to make you happy, whether finding your dream home or selling your current house. In fact, it was her clients in her previous profession which inspired her to venture into real estate. She explained to us: “I always wanted to do my own business kind of thing. I have known so many realtors before due to my previous job as a Graphics Designer. They all were my clients. I was used to providing them Graphics and web design services. So many of them told me or even encouraged me to do the course and become a Realtor. At that time I never took them seriously but one day I was talking to my husband then he said you should go for it. He said you have the potential and I knew you could do it. Then, I decided and I registered for the course. Rest is history. I passed the exam and joined Exp Realty. So last year when I was going for door knocks and meeting with people I found that so many people were always asking me about mortgages as well then I thought it would be great if I have both licenses. From there I prepared for the mortgage exam and got that license too. This is how I now have a small office where I offer both real estate and mortgage services.”
