Abd Rahman Soltan has been setting the bar high for several decades. Now 56, he has come a long way and gone around the world since he started in 1990.
He remembers his first project, “It was 1990, and I was tasked with setting up a water treatment plant for cooling towers. I had just stepped onto the field. I was an amateur but I had a lot of drive, nothing could’ve stopped me. So I learned as I worked, and I kept giving my best. And 32 years later, I’m here and I believe I’ve learned quite a lot but my passion and drive are unchanged.”.
Soltan has established his stronghold in the construction, interior fit-out, and property development market. Initially, his business was based in Kuala Lampur, with his hard work and perfection he found a lot of success and took his company international in 2008 and set up his operations in Dubai.
Soltan shed more light on his success, saying, “The key to making it in business – and even in life – lies within you. You are in control of your life and I advise everyone to never constrict themselves. Go try your hand at new opportunities, be open to meeting new people, and travel as much as you can! The more you keep an open mind, the more you learn, a determination is very important but you see fruits only when your determination meets knowledge.”.
