Adapting To The Digitalization Of The Music Industry

I was recently able to have a chat with Devain Doolaramani who has accumulated an extensive amount of experience through handling numerous projects in both the financial and marketing spheres. At the age of 16, he began to experiment with social media and ran a Facebook page which amassed over 200,000 likes and built an Instagram page that eventually amassed over 900,000 followers, both of which he monetized. He exhibits qualities of teamwork, dedication, hard work, skills and traits that he believes culminate into future success.
He currently manages 25M worth of influencers across TikTok and Instagram and has ran digital marketing campaigns for Sony, Warner, Atlantic, Universal and artists such as Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Oliver Tree, Nicky Romero and more.
When was the first time you tasted success Devain?
I think that the first time that I tasted success was when I was 16. I began to manage an Instagram with 800,000 followers and built it into a business. I think that managing that page gave me the mindset to keep on doing entrepreneurial things which is what I began to do. Through managing that page, I built relationships with companies and e-commerce businesses all around the world and individuals who were looking to get exposure.
Wow! 800,000 followers is a huge audience. So, why do you want to be successful and what’s your ultimate vision of success for yourself?
I want to be successful because I think that success allows you to help others create the world that you’re living in. My ultimate vision of success for myself is being comfortable in the position I am with the necessities I need. I think that success brings forth maturity and those who are successful are the ones with the most strategic minds when they were building their success. My end goal is to help those who want to achieve success and have the drive to achieve it do so.
Thank you so much for sharing your story Devain! Do you have any last words of advice for readers?
My advice would be to absolutely never give up and keep working towards your vision because anyone could do it.
