It was a longing dream of his to study at the educational establishment. In a recent interview, Alexander talked about coming from a small village outside of London and having no connection with the fashion or media worlds. He mentioned how academics were never easy but knew that hard work would get him where he needed to be. And now, thanks to his passion, dedication, and relentless ambition, Alexander’s efforts have allowed him to excel in his industry.
- Becoming a digital editor at Condé Nast:Reaching his level was no breeze for the young professional. Some people think of success, while some get up every morning and make it happen. Alexander worked day in and day out to make things happen for him; while studying for his degree, Alexander managed to land a coveted work placement at British Vogue. Alexander continued to do numerous internships in his sector to acquire more knowledge and raise his profile in the industry. After two years of study, he graduated with BA (Hons) in Fashion Communication from Condé Nast College. He also pitched his final degree project to Anna Wintour at the Condé Nast College graduate showcase exhibition. Straight out of graduation, Alexander was contracted with ITV Studios to handle the affiliate content for their mobile app and web. A few months later, he gained his first job at Condé Nast in digital marketing, and within twelve months promoted to Digital Editor at one of Condé Nast’s prestigious publications.
