Ali Haseeb & Shawn Virani Release The VA Formula: A Powerful Course for Businesses Looking to Systemize, Scale, and Automate their Digital Business

Ali Haseeb & Shawn Virani

Despite the seemingly chaotic nature of 2020, Ali Haseeb & Shawn Virani have been able to scale their branding and consulting business, Principles Creative Studios to multiple six figures with lightning speed by leveraging the power of Saas tools and the versatile skills of Virtual Assistants all across the world. Ali & Shawn have spent the past few months perfecting the art of structuring effective systems, creating training programs for remote employees, and creating a clockwork-like marketing agency model. They have successfully scaled several digital businesses and leveraged both technology and talent to build a culture of excellence with their teams, strategic partners, and their clients.

While working in corporate America, Ali learned to strategically utilize VA’s to handle multiple projects alongside his 9-5 (more like 7 to 7 in the healthcare field). As he ventured off into entrepreneurship and connected with Shawn Virani, his Co-author, and Co-Founder of the Principles LLC umbrella, they started gathering a roster of talented designers and developers in multiple countries. Ali and Shawn were able to scale not only their own agency but several other passion projects as well, including their personal brands, an investment company, a podcast, and even a 160 page best-selling, personal development book. They dipped their hands in multiple ventures including real estate, exotic charters, and coaching.  In due time, Ali & Shawn were approached by several curious partners and clients looking to duplicate their processes. After testing their concept across multiple industries and seeing tons of success, The VA Formula was born. It was the perfect setup; a digital business, specific tools and software, and talented VA’s to systemize and automate everything. It helped that they learned quite a bit from their own ventures while working alongside their strategic partner Robert Miller, CEO of ScaleBold who recently joined them in the new tech capital of the south, Austin, Texas.

Virtual Assistants have been used by major corporations in big call center settings for as long as businesses have been outsourcing. However, many emerging businesses especially in the digital space may not understand that the same techniques can be applied at a smaller scale. However, the process must be thoroughly organized. When scaling online, minor mistakes can snowball into major ones if you don’t take the time to effectively systemize certain components of the business. The modern-day entrepreneur tends to wear multiple hats and usually starts solo in his/her endeavors. Having to deal with the struggles of starting out as freelancers themselves, Ali and Shawn documented their journey and kept revising their processes which eventually became The VA Formula. This comprehensive course discusses the exact ways to build a virtual team, automating several tasks from social media management to lead generation, even helping you with the hiring process to get you up and running with your first VA.

Let’s dive into 3 powerful reasons to get started with The VA Formula and begin to scale your business, no matter what industry you are in.

Reduced Operational Overhead

Who doesn’t want to save money?

Even though the barrier to entry in the digital business world is fairly low, there is nothing cheap about scaling. One must take on operational costs, marketing costs, overhead, and even payroll. However, you can invest your capital correctly and aim to get the bang for your buck. You just need to know where to look.

By hiring virtual assistants, you not only reduce your overhead costs but also improve the efficiency of your team. Compared to a typical US employee, working with a virtual assistant will save you operational costs by an average of 40%. It’s important to understand that while an international employee can save you money on the front end, it can also save you tons of money on the backend. Think about the cost of labor surcharges such as insurance, employee benefits, office space costs, and tax savings. As freelance contractors, virtual assistants are themselves responsible for accounting and taxes. Plus the employee is remote so you can essentially get rid of your office and build a business from anywhere in the world.

Reduced Workload

Time is important to everyone, no matter what industry you are in. Acquiring a virtual assistant will allow you to outsource tasks that can be automated so that you as the business owner can focus on scaling your business and eventually creating other verticals and streams of income. Whether you are overloaded with a busy schedule, sick of being on the phone, or spending too much time creating spreadsheets, delegating certain tasks to virtual assistants is an extremely effective way to duplicate yourself.

Moreover, think about the time you saved and the opportunity to fill that time with strategic moves that directly correlate with expanding your reach within your industry. With a virtual assistant, you can devote your free time to strategic, cash-producing activities for your business while the time-consuming tasks can be completed for a fraction of the cost and time.

The quality of your work will also improve as you and your assistants refine the processes and use certain software and tools to automate them. Multiple minds are always greater than one, and it’s important to understand that virtual assistants are extremely capable of taking over certain tasks and truthfully might even be more effective than you.

Systemize and Automate

Always remember that a virtual assistant is not just a person who performs certain tasks that you don’t want to do. If leveraged correctly, they can be a secret weapon that will increase your company’s productivity and sales revenue.

With over 120 clients in over 20 industries, Principles has a good grasp on what works and what doesn’t both in marketing and in operations. They have created workflows for many projects including but not limited to lead generation, content creation, creating courses, social media management, account management…. Helping a multitude of clients in real estate, credit repair, fitness, software development, e-commerce, videography, and many more industries. They credit their growth to their growing team of rockstar talents.

An Inside Chat with the Principles Creative Team

We had the pleasure of speaking with vitally important members of the Principles Creative team, who brought with them a perspective of how virtual assistants truly love and appreciate their work. Cleinn Caspe & Fionna Jaranilla have helped build the foundation that is now Principles Creative, having worked with Ali and Shawn for over 1.5 years now.

The VA Formula

What is it like working with a US-based company?

Cleinn & Fionna: Working with a US-based agency is both exciting and intimidating at the same time. The cultural differences were very hard at first, but Ali & Shawn made it so easy. Both of them made sure the team is very well taken care of, not a lot of companies can do that, not even here in the Philippines.

What is it like working with multiple clients?

Cleinn: To be honest, it’s very fun! I get to see and experience firsthand so many different perspectives from the clients while I work on their branding. Not only does this inspire me, it also motivates me to grow and push boundaries with my designs. This really helped me fine-tune my skills and my ability to manage the team even further.

Favorite project you worked on?

Cleinn & Fionna: Hands down, Principles. I honestly enjoy the internal projects I do with Principles. The branding, merchandise, social media content and so much more. It gives me more space to be extra creative and just go wild without boundaries. Plus, to have a team of creatives working with me and both Ali and Shawn directly, the possibilities for improvement and creativity just seem to be endless.

Tell us more about the bond between the management team

Fionna: Ali and Shawn make communication so easy. They listen and are always open to suggestions on how we can improve management, delegation, tracking, and basically everything in operations. Most bosses aren’t like that, even here in the Philippines! This makes us feel more like a family working towards a single goal, rather than a group of individuals working for a boss.
