Lisa King is a pharmacist of 32 years. She is a life coach and Amazon Best Selling Author of the book she coauthored with her sister, Tiny Life Changes.  She also has a passion for empowering women to gain freedom from bladder issues  and founded Ditchbladderpain.com .

Please throw some light on your book Tiny Life Changes. What does the book accumulate?

Tiny Life Changes ( TLC) may be a guide to achieving your goals one step and at some point at a time. When my sister and I coauthored the book; we knew change was daunting. We created an interactive book filled with simple reminders to keep moving forward towards your goals. We also had both gone through a difficult time at the same time. Myself through the downturn of 2008 and my sister through a breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 35. We wanted to create a source of positive inspiration filled with simple reminders to shift thoughts to those that best serve one in goal achievement and living a happy and fulfilled life.

Please tell us in detail about Ditchbladderpain.com. What does it focus on?

Ditchbladderpain.com hosts my course on gaining freedom from bladder issues to go from frustrated to flourishing. It entails dietary , lifestyle and mindset shifts to achieve health and healing goals. Many women feel very alone with the stigma and embarrassment of bladder issues. My hope is always to give hope to women that they are not alone and there are treatment options, Mindset and belief that you can put bladder issues behind you is very important in a healing journey. My course includes many mindset shifts based on the principles of Tiny Life Changes to keep moving forward towards health goals.

What are your favorite three self-help books?

My three favorite self help books are : Present Over Perfect by Shauna Niequist, The Universe has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein and On Fire by John O’Leary. I have so many more I love too!!

What are your thoughts on women empowerment? How can women become the best version of themselves?

I am a huge supporter of women and truly believe they can achieve their goals! I would suggest affirmations to overcome self limiting beliefs and to hold the belief they can achieve their goals! Start simply with affirmations that you believe to be true. If ‘ I am achieving my goals’ does not seem believable try.., ‘I am capable of finding the resources needed to achieve my goals’ , ‘ I am moving forward one step at a time towards my goals’ ‘ I am surrounding myself with a support system that will allow me to achieve my goals.’ Make your affirmations believable to you! Have fun creating them!

What do you love to do when you are not working?

When I’m not working I love walking and hiking through AZ. My husband and I just bought an adventure van and we love exploring on the weekends. I love baking too!

What are your goals for 2021?

My goals for 2021 are to continue to add another layer into my healthy journey through mediation. I also want to shine a light on bladder issues. It’s a topic that is often not discussed and I want women to know they are not alone and there is hope!
