American-Lebanese Food Blogger FirasKazma Educates About the Benefits of Eating Healthy Food

In the last few years, we have been presented with different diets to eat healthier and benefit our bodies. Some have opted for Keto or Paleo diets, while others choose to eat vegetarian or vegan. Everyone decides what type of meal plan to follow depending on their dietary needs and pre-existing conditions. Someone who has a great deal of experience in this area is an American-Lebanese food blogger FirasKazma.

FirasKazma is a CEO of many companies in Middle-East and also has a vibrant blog on Instagram ‘CEO Street Food’, and he loves both aspects of his life equally.

People often complain about not being able to do justice to their passion because of their full-time professional commitments. But then we have FirasKazma who makes the most of his 24 hours juggling both his roles with perfection. Despite being a busy CEO, he found time for his passion and did full justice to it. He shares few benefits of eating healthy food, listed below-

  1. More Nutrients

Firas explains eating organic is more beneficial because it brings more nutrients to your body: “Organic foods are rich in the minerals, vitamins, micronutrients, and enzymes our bodies need to function optimally. The reason organic foods contain more nutrients is because the soil they’re grown with is not sprayed with toxic chemicals that kill the nutrients in non-organic foods.”

  1. More Antioxidants

Firas explains, “Antioxidants help keep us healthy, free from sickness, and minimize our risk of chronic illness and disease.” Eating organic foods will guarantee your antioxidant intake is enhanced by 20%.

  1. Better Flavor

When we eat, we are looking for flavorful meals. The founder of CEO Street Food says, “organic foods contain more nutrients with better-balanced soil. In other words, the food doesn’t have to work as hard to get nutrients to be healthy, which in turn reduces the stress of the plant so that it can instead spend its time growing its vibrant flavor.”

  1. Less Pesticides

Pesticides are a big concern when it comes to the fruits and vegetables we contain as we do not often know what kind of chemicals are being used. Firas explains, “When foods aren’t organic, they contain synthetic pesticides and herbicides. We’re discovering more and more about the harmful effects of these chemicals, which have been scientifically linked to developmental issues, ADHD, reduced sperm, and carcinogens.”

  1. No Hormones or Antibiotics

Firas reminds us, “livestock and dairy are hotbeds for pesticides, as they cling to the fats and tissues of the animal. These pesticides make their way into our bodies and ultimately create dangerous toxins and chemicals which can lead to genetic issues, tumors and increased risk for cancer.” By eating organic, we are reducing exposure to any harmful hormones and antibiotics.

  1. No GMOs

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) can contaminate our food, and they are not required to be labeled when being sold. But when it comes to organic foods, Firas explains, “organic foods must be Certified Organic to ensure the food is free of chemicals and toxins.”

  1. Better Farming Practices

We probably do not think a lot about the farming practices behind the food we get on our table, but it is essential that we do. FirasKazma is one of those people who has put thought into this and shares, “Buying organic fosters better farming practices to help keep crops on a balanced crop rotation so that farmers can provide us with diverse options for food. In turn, we preserve the land and soil so that all living beings can have a healthy environment rich in food and nutrients.”

  1. Better for the Environment

These days we have to think closely about the environment and innovate ways to preserve our Earth. Firas says, “Non-organic foods heavily employ pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, and agricultural chemicals which contaminate the environment, compromise farmland and taint our water. When you buy organic food, you cast a vote that you’re not ok with unhealthy farm practices which are a detriment to the environment, and ultimately, posterity.”

  1. Healthier Food Options Available

The goal when changing your diet is to benefit from it and guarantee your body stays healthy. That is why it is essential to expand your options and make healthier food choices. FirasKazma explains, “When you make the conscious decision to eat organic, you tap into the well of healthy foods. In turn, these choices can help you eat a more balanced diet, foster healthy habits, and overall contribution to your wellbeing.”

  1. It’s Easier Than Ever to Eat Organic

Although eating organic may seem like a challenge, the Life Coach reminds us you can get it delivered to your front door: “You can literally get organic foods delivered straight to your front door. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes are filled with delicious and organic fruits, grains, vegetables, and dairy, and are a great way to incorporate organic whole foods into your diet.”

If you are thinking about changing your diet to keep your body healthy, eating organic may be the way to go.
