The 31-year-old entrepreneur is also well-known for his scale-up abilities and his skills in taking start-up businesses and bringing them to profitable levels very quickly. For example, his online banking platform reportedly hit it’s break-even point within 2 months of operations, something that is unheard of in recent times for Fintech projects.

He is the 2020 winner of the United Kingdom’s Future 100 Award, the winner of the 2020 European Start-up Entrepreneur Award, and the 2020 Scale-up Entrepreneur Award. These coveted prizes were provided to Andrew for his devotion to re-building the payments landscape and providing services that are adoptable by large numbers of users, whilst at the same time implementing products that continuously improve the way electronic transactions are handled.

The entrepreneur’s cash-to-voucher system which will first take flight in Kenya is due to launch in Q2 2021 and will be one of the continent’s most innovative payment products, providing access to some of the continent’s 250 million citizens who currently have no access to online banking or digital payments.
