Andy Audate Breaks Down How to Get Known on Social Media

Your business is not about you. It is about the people you serve. Once you are able to crack the secret for getting people to know, like and trust you, that is when you begin to grow your business and your personal brand. 

People buy your product or sign up for your service because you have something in you that they can relate to.You should have a solution to the problem that they have. You should have that personable persona they can get attracted to.

That being said, I present you with the secret to your branding success and that is the KLT funnel. 

 

What is the KLT Funnel?

The KLT Funnel is an acronym for Know, Like and Trust. A process where you tap as many people as you can to give attention to you. Once that happens, you begin to take them on a journey into the funnel until you get them to seal the deal. 

Anyone who knows and applied this method in building their brand are more likely to have success. This is one of the powerful ways to get people’s attention, interest, and desire. Once you do, your prospects are mostly likely to take action on your offer. You will turn them from being a follower into a customer.

In order to master the psychology behind the KLT funnel, let us discuss them one by one. 

 

Know: The First of the Funnel

First things first, inorder for people to get to know you is basically your responsibility. Your goal should be to share your gift to the world. To touch the lives of millions with the message only you and you alone can give. To share a part of your life, your trials, your challenges. 

To attract the audience that can relate to your message. You can’t make a difference on anyone’s like if they don’t know you. So, you need to go to them, and doing it right is the secret to attract the right market you are tapping.  

It’s a noisy world out there, so make it a point to set a goal for awareness. Awareness about you, your brand, your voice. You can start by simply showing up. Use a medium like social media or go contact a publication industry and ask them if you can share something valuable for their audience.

Believing in yourself is another factor. You have to make sure you do everything in your power to be heard.

 

Like: Let Your Influence Progress

When people begin to know you, they will want to see what else is there to know about you.  

So, before people can begin to like you after knowing you, the first thing you need to do is to show, and not just tell. Somewhere in between,the stage of know and like is a part where you have to show your abilities and the qualities of your achievement. This is the way to validate that someone has actually gotten to know you and are beginning to like you, and would want to find out more about you. 

You are a hero in the story. The person whom they can relate to. Their source of information and inspiration. Once you have shared the qualities of your achievement, you will be a testament to your audience, that they can actually trust you. 

 

Trust: The Vital Part in All of This

Have you ever heard about the layman’s term, “Trust is hard to earn?”

If you have, then you must notice that this article validates that. Trust is the last bit of the funnel and the most vital. Trust is where you close the deal with your prospects. These are they who once knew and liked you.  

You don’t just go around and  expect people to buy your product right away. You must take them on to the journey of the funnel. You should be able to show them you’re credible enough. You should show them that you have transparency, and are certain about your product and your brand.  

If you are skeptical about the quality of your product or service, your audience will feel it. They will turn away. 

So don’t you blow up this last part! If you lack certainty in yourself, and your product, no one will buy from you. 

 

In Summary

The KLT funnel is powerful and should be practiced in almost all your business dealings. Once you are able to get people to like you, show them that you care. Show them that you have what it takes to help them. When you do, it will be easy for them to like you and trust you. 

Those who are happy with your product or service will advocate for you. Let them. This way, you get to have more people into your KLT funnel. 

Remember that everyone and everything that has your client’s attention is your competition. That being said, think of your business on a massive scale whether nationally or internationally. 

Keep building that. Get out there! Introduce yourself to the world. Show them what you got and get that handshake deal. 

Put your best foot forward, until you brand will become a household name.
