Baltimore’s Charles Turner-Cox is Game for Everything

Who is Charles Turner-Cox?

Charles Turner-Cox has NFL and business aspirations, and is a consummate hustler and an all-around good guy, on and off the field. Charles, a native of Baltimore, attended high school at Digital Harbor and went on to get several degrees. After completing an associate’s degree at Santa Rosa junior college, he transferred to Santa Clara University for his bachelor’s and master’s degrees and graduated from Bluefield University in 2022 with an MBA and a specialization in information technology project management with a Project Management Professional Certification.

Baltimore Beginnings

While Charles is clearly destined for something major, whether as a business professional or an athlete, it’s clear that he will never forget his roots. The Charm City native spoke about his upbringing in “Bird Land” in a recent interview with Hype Magazine: “Baltimore is tough, but it’s what made me who I am. Being able to adapt to your community and wanting to live a better life has always been my goal. A lot of people not having the proper channels to succeed is what most were faced with, so I’m trying to be the change that is needed to bridge the gap.”

Staying Ready

The Digital Harbor and Bluefield University grad is still on pro radars as an NFL free agent and was featured in Sports Illustrated. Charles is aware that the call can come at any moment, so while working on his business endeavors, he keeps himself in tremendous shape. Turner-Cox keeps himself ready to go by way of TGX Performance with the support of Coach Terrick Gaines, who has a history of assisting prospects with similar goals. In an interview with The Gridiron Crew, Charles speaks on this approach and what it will lead to: “I’m grateful for ANY opportunity to play the game at the next level, I’m looking forward to seeing where GOD lands me. I’m hard-working and what you haven’t seen will be shown soon!”

A Dual Winner

I have full confidence in Charles Turner-Cox realizing his football dreams. With that being said, what Charles is accomplishing away from the field at such a little age is what truly sets him apart from the norm. His athleticism helped him get admission to college (he received a full athletic scholarship to Bluefield University), but he has subsequently excelled in the classroom and is the first on his mother’s side of the family to earn a Master of Business Administration. Charles now has a contract to provide security at Camden Yards. He plans on growing the company at a healthy rate and being an equal-opportunity employer who has a positive impact on the lives of his staff. Keep up with all things Charles Turner-Cox by following him on Instagram.
