Behind the Hype: Building Integrity and Sustainability with DBC Limited

Every now and then we get the privilege of encountering a true believer in the expanding and exciting realm of E-commerce. Mitch Holt of DBC Solutions LTD is just such a guy. We’ve been keenly following this industry and the providers that are involved in it for some time now. The one company that keeps pinging our radar for integrity, honesty and results is you guessed it. DBC Solutions LTD.
Founded in 2017 DBC Solutions, or DBC Limited as it is more publicly known, provides holistic management of Amazon and Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) Stores. For those in the know, when seeking to make a passive income the E-commerce industry can lead you down many different paths, some lead to the blind alley of dishonesty, some lead down rabbit holes of cost and risk. However, if you’re really lucky some lead to the right place where you can have real confidence in your investment of time and money. Right now DBC Limited is that place!
Mitch Holt hails from the Canadian oil and gas industry and the self discipline and management skills gained from this background have enabled him to reach some very impressive milestones over the past 3 years. Together with his business partner and trusted friend, Jason Giddens, Mitch Holt has created one of the lowest risk E-commerce combination services in the world. Currently Mitch Holt manages 13 different companies, ranging across Canada, the USA and other parts of the globe that enable him to get around the endless red tape involved with conducting a world wide business.
In the seemingly ever expanding universe of E-Commerce DBC Limited has built a team of green belt IT process consultants, Business managers, in-house software developers, warehouse distribution management and one of the most profitable and efficient product research teams around. DBC Limited has recently partnered with Ecom Elite Consulting LLC and Wicked Country Distribution LLC in the USA. Along with the help of Touchpoint Logistics (warehouse partner) and Ramp Systems (inventory software partner), DBC Limited has created an impressive and efficient system for online store accounting and inventory management. DBC Limited system employs minimal staff and utilises custom software that allows them to scale more stores and profitable revenues, with automation capabilities that have no rival in the E-commerce industry. DBC Limited is the most thorough and professional one stop shop for E-commerce services we have found to date.
Despite this impressive resume, Mitch Holt and Jason Gliddens are two humble gentlemen who strive for integrity at every curve. I had the pleasure of sitting down and speaking with Mitch Holt directly. Getting down to the nuts and bolts I asked Mitch what the main business problems that
DBC Limited addresses are: “It became obvious pretty quickly that Online Store Owners weren’t really able to call having an Online Store passive income,” explained Mitch. “There is a lot of additional stuff that needs to happen behind the scenes. Let me give you some examples: The store has to be tax compliant, sales tax needs to be filed with the states every month, monthly accounting has to occur to know whether the store is profitable. All these services are time consuming, complicated, require experience, and understanding of each state’s sales tax laws.” So successfully has DBC Limited addressed these needs that they now service over 3000 satisfied clients.
Not only is Mitch Holt brutally honest and transparent, he is neither impressed nor intimidated by all the other “lifestyle marketing gurus” littering the field. In fact he has a very interesting way of looking into the inner workings of these businesses. “We can’t be focused on showing off the money with lambos, big houses, and fancy shit!” Mitch argues. “Sustainability should always be the number one factor when running a business. Without sustainability what do you have? A quick buck, and an even faster fall!”
To prevent this kind of free fall, Mitch went on to explain: “Our office in Rockton Illinois is packed full of some very gifted full time employees that have been the backbone to the realization of this dream. To be the best we need to hire the best. And with Jason becoming increasingly involved in the teaching and training space the more we invest into business systems, and processes the more sustainable and profitable we will become over time.” As Mitch was going over the inner workings of this program, I found myself thinking…..What don’t these guys do?
Throughout the interview I had the pleasure of witnessing the passion Mitch Holt holds for his business and his clients, and surprisingly he was more than happy to share details of his short-comings and the lessons he has learned over the years. As Mitch mused: “more and more we see the world through social media, we look for the positive and not the negative and with that comes a lot of misused or manipulated information that isn’t always the most honest and upfront.”
I was surprised at how much emphasis Mitch Holt places on integrity and ethics in business. As Mitch eloquently explains: “Business ethics isn’t something that we should be teaching, it’s something that anyone looking to do great things should already have embedded into their DNA. Empathy cannot be taught, it needs to be built into the mindset of the person in question. We all need to realize how small transactions of understanding can change the world. We all need to love what we do with such passion, the business should be a representation of the true inner self feeling of the owner, be that positive or negative, that will be up to your level of understanding of empathy.”
These words should resonate deeply as we all know the risks E-commerce has brought to forefront for investors. This industry needs to be changed for the better, and I am pleased to say that I believe Mitch, Jason and their team of high level problem solvers at DBC Limited are going to be the ones to change it. From working directly with marketplace managers, to working in the trenches with their clients to realize the potential of their investment, Mitch Holt and Jason Giddens are two guys we should be watching out for over the next 12 to 24 months.
