Byron Johnson- the entrepreneur who started from scratch:

Financial freedom is of extreme importance in the present world. However, the majority of people are still stuck in their tiresome 9 to 5 job. Entrepreneur Byron Johnson is someone who not only dreamt about financial freedom but also worked tirelessly to achieve it. He has his own commercial real estate brand called the Johnson Foundation of Florida. It is located in Tampa, Florida. “I was inspired to create my brand because I wanted to have financial security. I wanted a way to have stability and longevity in the business sector and commercial real estate provides this”, he further stated. Presently, it overlooks three properties that are fully occupied by 150 tenants.

Byron’s vision to create this brand was to assist small business owners in the Tampa region who were in search of affordable properties to run their business. Most of his tenants are new business owners who need commercial space to ascertain their legitimacy. As someone who himself has rented countless commercial real estates over the last few years, he recognized that there was an urgent need for affordable properties in Tampa. Being in the business industry is undoubtedly risky, However, the real estate industry is comparatively safer compared to other sectors. “As a young man with a family to provide for and as a business owner with the staff I took this opportunity to acquire real estate as an opportunity to provide long term success and stability for both”, said Byron.

Although Byron has achieved immense levels of success in such a short span, his journey has not been an easy one. He had to face many hurdles along the way. The primary one was the difficulty in obtaining financing. Funding is the backbone of the business industry which guarantees both success and longevity in the market. However, he never gave up and continued working hard and developing good business relationships.

Byron firmly believes that while work is important, you need to have the proper work-life balance to lead a stressful and happy life. He hugely credited his team for this because without a proper team around you, you can never achieve success. A business can never be successful if you are surrounded by team members who have no cooperation and discipline. Thus, the success of the Johnson Foundation of Florida can be attributed to both Johnson and his entire team. On being asked if he has any advice for the aspiring entrepreneurs out there, Byron replied that he lives by two mantras- always having a backup plan and never shying away from taking hard decisions. He is truly an inspiration to all.
