Denovia’s First-Of-A-Kind Recycling Apparatus Helps Secure Exciting New Partnerships
The London-based company co-founded by Nick Spina is reshaping plastic waste management across North America.
(Ontario, Canada) – Denovia, an innovative research company leading a seismic wave across plastic waste remanufacturing, is thrilled to announce that its first-of-a-kind commercialized plastic recycling machine is now in full operation.
Based at its London research facility, the machine is capable of recycling 1,000 liters of plastic waste per batch. In a process that takes only five to 15 minutes, a high-temperature reactor and a proprietary liquid melt down plastic into pellets of 100% recycled material.
The pellets will be sold to the market at competitive rates and used across a variety of industries, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey to reshaping plastic waste management across the globe. The company is proud to report that its revenue projections exceed $15 million, with a gross margin of approximately 65% and an EBITDA margin of 35%.
Denovia first announced this breakthrough technology in April, and has since partnered with New York investment bank, Jett Capital with goals of advancing quickly. As a result of a $40 million financing round, the company plans to scale its 1,000 liter facility in upcoming months.
“Coming from Jett Capital, this could be worth $4 billion in the next twelve months. We’re planning to go into growth mode after this stage and scale up to a 50,000 liter facility,” says Nick Spina, Co-founder of Denovia. “Jett Capital’s network is fantastic and they’ve definitely made a name for themselves. We spent a lot of time with them in New York and they are a very aggressive group in this space. We are very excited to see where our relationship goes, the sky’s the limit.”
In another exciting development, Denovia has signed agreements with Goodwill to recycle 30,000 pounds of hospital garments, as well as TYMAC, to melt down plastic waste into recycled material. With profit margins up to 65% percent, these agreements position Denovia for substantial profitability and expansion.
“From here on out, it’s all about execution and financing. To date, we’ve been able to find leaders who have proven track records of swift execution. We’re going to continue on that path and put one step in front of the other as fast as we possibly can,” Spina says.
“We are also currently in verbal conversations with industry giants Henkel, Vinmar, and BASF to become output partners. These partnerships will enable us to integrate our upcycled materials into their product lines, significantly reducing their environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices,” he continues.
With these strong foundations, including backing by the Canadian government, Denovia is poised to make significant strides in the plastic recycling industry. The company’s innovative technology and strategic partnerships are set to drive substantial growth and impact in the fight against plastic waste.
