DJ Jazzy Vee is Making a Wave On The Latin Drill Scene

Born and raised in Astoria, Queens, New York, DJ Jazzy Vee commenced her artistic journey at a young age, performing tap dancing and ballet on stages at the age of 4. She went on to perform in choirs, act in multiple musicals, and play the clarinet in a marching band where she acted as the lead. Jazzy Vee is an artist in her own lane as a New Jersey club, Spanish, EDM, and Reggaeton artist, music producer, and DJ.
After creating her own radio show “The Level Up Show” in East Orange, NJ in 2017 where she interviewed several upcoming artists, she realized it was time to create her own music. “I always knew I wanted to make my own music ever since I was a little girl,” Jazzy Vee smilingly informs us.
Jazzy Vee fills us in on her daily life and mentions, “I’m always working on tackling goals. Day in, day out. I’m obsessed with improvement and accomplishing goals. And if I’m not working, then I’m learning something new to help me improve my skills.”
Jazzy Vee envisions herself DJing festivals and concerts at stadiums and venues across the world. She not only produces her own music, but when time permits she works with various other artists to help perfect their production as well.
When asked about her greatest obstacles Jazzy Vee didn’t seem to find anything as truly difficult because with God’s help, any and everything is possible in her eyes. Jazzy tells us, “God has helped me overcome any challenge ever put before me. He also blessed me with the gift of music at a young age…
music saved my life. During the darkest days of my life, I would turn to music to help me overcome whatever it is at the time I was conquering. But also of course, I would turn to God to help me first and foremost. Without God , I wouldn’t be here. It’s because of him I’m victorious.”
Jazzy Vee has a diverse catalog of music on all streaming platforms and tells us she’s gonna give us something to “really feel” when she releases her long awaited Reggaeton and Latin records.
She plans on releasing her next hit, “PLATAS” , a Latin Drill version of her Jersey Club/ Drill song “Hot Outside” in the upcoming weeks.
Jazzy joyfully tells us, “Oh I’m bringing something outstanding to the Latin music scene. I’ve been fusing different sounds together when I produce.”
Hailing from a Puerto Rican background , she exclaims, “And you better believe I’m doing it for the culture ! I love you Puerto Rico !”
