Dr. Amin Sanaia, DSL, MHA, Is Building Winning Teams Though DEI Tools

Great targets are only achieved through teamwork. If a team is committed to achieving a goal, bringing onboard innovations, and chasing success, then it will become unstoppable in any field. This is why team building is important for any organization to boost growth, and Dr. Amin Sanaia is a master at it. He is a servant leader who holds a doctorate in strategic leadership with a master’s in healthcare administration. This incredible combination of skills makes him a champion in DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion).

Dr. Sanaia migrated to the US from the Dominican Republic when he was only 8. From living a comfortable life in a spacious home in his native country to living in a small apartment in the US, life has taught Dr. Sanaia many lessons since childhood. He saw his family go through financial struggles, which motivated him to achieve financial freedom.

Initially, Dr. Sanaia struggled to adapt to the new culture and language. As all this change began attracting negativity, Dr. Sanaia realized the value of positivity in life. He developed a positive mindset and pivoted his life to become a sought-after workplace coach and a people’s leader. Now he wants others to experience the same change of mindset in life to become more creative and productive at work.

Perseverance and positivity have been the most effective tools for Dr. Sanaia to accomplish his goals. He believes that these two forces can build winning teams in the workplace, inspiring people to become optimally productive. Dr. Sanaia doesn’t claim to be an astute strategist promoting excellence across business environments and developing effective people strategies. Instead, he is a practical coach who creates successful tools to understand people by assessing their behaviors at work. Dr. Sanaia then discerns how to impact those behaviors to align organizational strategy with talents.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sanaia has been at the forefront of building a positive culture in the workplace. He has earned the JMT (John Maxwell) certification as a coach, trainer, and speaker. Dr. Sanaia has also obtained the PI (Predictive Index) certification and is the recipient of the prestigious Bronze National Quality Award (AHCA/NCAL) twice in 2019 and 2013. As a leader, Dr. Sanaia lives by the motto of loving people and loving the self to create a feel-good ambiance in the workplace that boosts team performance. Because he has lived the path to becoming successful, Dr. Sanaia’s initiative to build an inclusive work culture has a practical approach.

As someone who believes in communication, respect, authenticity, and empathy in the workplace, Dr. Sanaia doesn’t only want to limit his contributions to organizations. He is looking forward to becoming a motivational speaker to address the masses on topics like leadership development, positive mindset, and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion). Dr. Sanaia is also interested in venturing into entrepreneurship in the future.

Apart from chasing his career goals, Dr. Sanaia wants to give back to the community as the founder of a nonprofit organization. He would like to support underprivileged children around the world. To take his initiative to create better workplace leadership and more skilled teams, Dr. Sanaia wants to introduce college scholarship programs for minorities. Considering how far he’s come, Dr. Sanaia’s dream will turn into reality in just a matter of time.
