Now in your own words, please introduce yourself to our Global audience?

Dr. Cheryl Wood:

I am a passionate, heart-centered go-getter who maximizes every day that I get to live and make an impact on somebody else’s life.  I don’t take any moment for granted because life is so short; I take big leaps and risks because I refuse to have regrets; and I am intentional in making my life bigger than me.  God and family are always my top priority because I never want to be a public success but a private failure.  And I am obsessed with inspiring other people to take decisive action to live their very best life instead of just existing based on what life throws their way.  In my personal life, I love hanging out with my family and taking international trips together to expose my children to international experiences.  In my professional life, I love helping women to unleash the power of their voice, maximize the impact of their story, and monetize their knowledge.  I am energized by having a microphone in my hand, knowing that I can transform lives with my voice as I speak life into other women’s dreams.

Why is the YOU ARE ENOUGH Conference so important? Why Now and What should registered guests expect when they attend?

Dr. Cheryl Wood:

You Teamed up with Motivational living legend The Les Brown for this EPIC 3 Day event.  What does it mean to you as a Well-respected leader to have him share this journey with you?  Can we expect any more collaborations between you and Mr. Les Brown in 2021? Please share if you can!

Dr. Cheryl Wood:

I literally pinch myself everyday as I embrace this space that God is allowing me to play in where I get to partner with gurus I’ve admired for years like Les Brown.  I am filled with gratitude that all the seeds I’ve planted, the service I’ve given, and the work I’ve executed has paid off and positioned me to manifest everything I visualized and dreamed about when I started my entrepreneurial journey back in 2009.  To be coached by Les Brown, the GOAT of the public speaking industry, is a dream come true and to partner with him is the cherry on top.  He is masterful at his craft and full of wisdom, and I soak up that wisdom at every opportunity possible.  I never tire of listening to his wise words, hearing his conviction, and receiving his guidance.  I am excited that I will be partnering with Les Brown for my annual signature event this year, SpeakerCon2021 on November 4-7, 2021, which is an event designed for entrepreneurs, speakers, authors, coaches and consultants who are ready to unleash the power of their voice to impact lives globally.  This year’s SpeakerCon event will be hosted as a virtual event but we will return to a LIVE event on November 2-5, 2022.  In addition to SpeaekrCon2021, Les and I plan to partner on several other events in early 2022.  We plan to transform millions of lives together!!

As we wrap up, any final advice that you can give to aspiring speakers who want to turn their gift into a Million-dollar empire just like YOU?

Dr. Cheryl Wood:

My best advice is to abandon procrastination and perfection.  Find the power in your story, your life experiences, and your knowledge RIGHT NOW, then package it and offer it in the marketplace.  Acknowledge that “somebody is waiting on what you’re sitting on.”  That means you have the answer to the most painful part of somebody else’s life right now and they will stay in that pain for as long as you ‘sit on’ what you know.  So, refuse to keep all your greatness bottled up inside of you… instead, share it boldly, courageously, and consistently.  And don’t compare your journey to anybody else’s.  Just stay in your lane and make the impact that only you can make because there’s only ONE YOU!
