Hello Willy, we are thrilled to have you on our media. Please tell us a bit about you and your work.

Willy : I am a passionate traveler and hotelier. I believe that traveling is one of the best investments we can ever make. It helps us for our personal development, encourages us to understand the world, appreciate nature, be humble, and more. My interest in hotels motivated me to become part of this industry.

I am a luxury hotel specialist with over 10 years of experience in hospitality, including commercial team supervision and sales management. Hobal Luxury Collection is a representation company with a mission to connect luxury properties to curators in Europe and offering effective strategies that bring increased brand recognition and revenue generation.

Why do you think luxury hotels are important for a first time traveler?

Willy : Many people want to travel the world but due to the feeling of insecurity, they aren’t buying their tickets. This is where luxury hotels come convenient. If you travel abroad for the first time, luxury hotels provide you confidence. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, a high-end hotel makes you feel protected and assists you to make the best out of the trip and provide the highest quality of service and experience. 

What are the things the owner should know before starting a luxury hotel?

Willy : When an individual books a luxury hotel, it means that people are looking for the best comfort. They are willing to pay a higher price in exchange for the satisfaction they expect. Understanding this fact plays an essential role in maintaining the customer’s flow. As a luxury hotel, the managers and staff should be organized in a way that they understand what the customers truly want.

One of the primary things to remember before starting a luxury hotel is to choose the best location. Every need or travel point should be closer. Let me share this again, customers are paying higher prices cause they want to make everything less stressful. As an example: You must invest in shuttles that can take guests to their desired destination.

You will necessitate to guarantee that customers are having a comfortable stay, be ready for 24/7 assistance when needed, parking facilities, good wifi, air condition, toiletries, mini freezer, coffee maker, room service,  and the most crucial positive vibes around the hotel.
