Finance – How It Impacts Mind And Soul

Finance

Money might be the most essential subject people talk about. Without money, we can´t buy food, we can´t afford a place to stay, we can´t take care of our health, children can´t get proper education… the line is long but it is clear that money makes life possible in the capitalistic world we live in. It can be seen in places where people don´t have any money: their opportunities do not exist. They are fighting to survive daily. It impacts their mental health and it also gives them physical problems.

Can we say the same thing about people who have more than enough money? Their finances impact them mostly on a mental level because they can get physical treatments easily (costly treatments aren’t a problem)

Sooner or later, finances are an issue every human has to think of. Whether they have to think about how to get money for daily food or if they don´t know where to put all their money anymore. Having too much or too less… the stress about finances are impacting peoples mind and soul.

Financial stress

A lot of people have to worry about how they can pay their next bill. Many individuals live with a minimum of money and can´t afford to save some extra money. It is very common to take loans, so they can afford to buy their own house or have some extra expenditure. Bad credit personal loan are giving a lot of trouble to people because they have a history that does not permit them to get a personal loan.

Being put in this kind of situation all the time definitely impacts a person’s mind and body. Thinking about a problem or a challenge can cause anxieties, depressions, and substance abuse. And if finances become a problem people can develop exactly those symptoms.

Having not enough money for the next meal or not being able to pay the school fee for children can cause stress and anxieties. People have the feeling of not being able to manage their life, their self-esteem decreases, and their minds might be more and more filled with negative thoughts. Being put in a stressful or challenging situation is an extreme experience for the body and mind. From mental worries, it can go to serious chronic diseases. It can start to impact the physical health of an individual extremely.

People might be thinking: just put yourself together and manage your finances properly. It is not that easy. Financial stress can cause sleeping problems, diabetes, heart diseases, and migraines. The physical and mental problems become a big challenge besides the existing financial problem. Combined they can enable a person to live a normal life. Being in this state, some people only see a solution in drugs or alcohol.

Having not enough or no money puts people in a situation where they feel absolutely stressed and unable to help themselves. The only way to get out of that is to ask for professional support and counseling.

The discussion about having too much money and being impacted mentally by that is huge. Theories claim that too much money can cause less empathy, cloud moral judgment, and bring addiction easily. The only thing that can be said for sure that the financial situation (whether too much or too little money) impacts the mental situation of a person in various ways.
