Fitness Expert Lynch Hunt on Energy, Motivation, and Transformation

Most of us tend to focus on physical health/transformation and forget mental health. This is partly due to the mental health stigma and limited knowledge about mental illnesses. Rather than addressing mental health, we ‘bury’ ourselves in the gym as we don’t want to face the rejection and discrimination that accompanies mental illnesses. This has inspired fitness expert Lynch Hunt to focus not only on body transformation but also on mental and spiritual transformations.

Lynch Hunt is a fitness expert and the founder of AWOL Fitness of Greensboro, NC. Lynch is also a strong mental health advocate. He is a motivational speaker, content creator, author, and criminal justice activist.

Lynch Hunt believes physical health is connected to mental health, and you must start within to achieve that amazing transformation. He has built his brand around this theory. AWOL Fitness uses a proprietary training style (Functional Athletic Strength Training). Lynch not only focuses on burning calories and building muscles but is teaching people how they can transform their minds. He empowers and supports clients in transforming their minds and bodies and overcoming the major obstacle pulling them back.

Success can only come through experience, says Lynch, and experience is incomplete without failure. He explains that to reach your destination, you must keep fighting and make failure your friend. Let failure redirect you, and rather than focusing on what you have lost, pay attention to the lessons learned, as it will help you avoid similar pitfalls in the future.

His training helps nurture a growth mindset and ignite engagement and motivation to pursue your goals. Lynch Hunt shares workout plans, nutrition, and motivation. AWOL Fitness has an app and 30 and 90-day transformational challenges focusing on mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Lynch shares his story as he shows others that it is possible to change their lives. He  built his brand from the ground up, becoming a highly sought-after motivational speaker, fitness expert, author, and criminal justice activist. But his journey was challenging.

Lynch served time in prison, and rebuilding his life after he got out wasn’t easy. There were countless obstacles. However, he did not give up. He overcame them, and today, Lynch is a known name in the fitness and business worlds. He is most proud of the legislation created after his release, The Prison to Prosperity Act H.R. 4369, which is also the name of his latest book.

Lynch wrote 17 books, including Prison to Prosperity, and is often featured in the media speaking more about his life, changes in the criminal justice system, and fitness. Lynch has a weekly motivation segment on WFMY NEWS 2 Good Morning Show and is the chair of the speaker committee of TedX.

He recently became a National Ambassador for R7 Energy, a new energy drink company. Lynch is also a Lululemon ambassador.

Lynch changed his life and built an empire. He is being contracted by college sports teams for seasonal motivation where he teaches personal development and motivational lectures weekly throughout the entire season for Grambling State football, NCA&T basketball, and Davidson Community College basketball.
