Entrepreneurship
From a 9-5 With Nothing To More Than Doubling His Income as The Newest Face Of Digital Media

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Ishmael Mayhew (Ish), a highly sought out rising star in entrepreneurship and branding, to discuss his journy, goals, and what it takes to be successful. In the noisy world of digital marketing, there are rare times where young talent rises to the occasion and actually creates a dent on the market. Ishmael Mayhew is leaving his mark and claiming his territory. Who is he?
Based in Los Angeles, CA, Ishmael Mayhew (Ish) is one of the newest young minds in the verticals of digital media, entrepreneurship and creative branding. He’s spent the last 10 years educating others on the forecast of digital applications, social influence and impacting younger generations with knowledge on entrepreneurship, culture and realizing their dreams. Ish has used his expertise to advise and creative direct projects for professional athletes, TV personalities, music professionals and brands.
His hope is to continue to impact people globally with design, digital platforms, and information to inspire others and improve intra-societal relations and standards. Ish is constantly looking for new ways to use design & digital media as a way to cultivate & impact communities. He states “Dream big and do bigger. Hard work and opportunity is just as important as the dream.”
Ish, you’re so young and talented! You have already won so much in life but we all start somewhere! When was the first time you tasted success?
The first time I tasted success was when I tripled my fee rate and it was accepted. It was such a personal victory for me because it meant that my work was worth the money and it is.
Wow! That’s awesome! Not many people have the courage to triple their rate! You’re very ambitious at a young age, why do you want to be successful and what’s your ultimate vision of success for yourself?
I want to be successful because life is lived at its fullest when you are operating in your healthy version of success. My ultimate vision of success is peace and abundance. Peace equates to all forms of happiness and joy to me. Abundance equates to all forms of fortune, good health, and blessing to me. I want it all.
So inspiring. We shouldn’t limit ourselves and dream big. You’re setting the bar for others who look up to you. As you continue to execute your dreams, what’s your end goal?
My end goal is to be so ridiculously blessed and fortunate that I can give away 90% of what I have and still live like a king.
Ish, Any last words/piece of advice/tip for readers?
Do not settle for less than what you deserve. Do everything with integrity. The people who win are the ones who never give up & hang on until their time for success comes.
