When the pandemic hit, she had the courage to transform and expand her artistic focus into acting. When gigs in the music scene started to dwindle, she knew she needed something creative to feed her soul. She dived deep into acting classes to help cultivate her talent. Preparing for a role is never easy, LeeAnne does extensive character study on any roles she takes. Sometimes utilizing a hybrid of acting techniques to pull emotions from her past works best for her. In addition, analyzing the character psychologically and understanding the external elements around the character is vital in portraying a character. There is no short cut in acting, it’s all about being present and doing your homework.

LeeAnne’s dedication to her newfound craft paid off when she landed her first roles as the lead in several short films.  Although the roles were small, she was able to show her versatility and range as an actress. From there many other films and tv projects came along. She’s currently in production for the short film, “TRAFIK” (Director – Kellie Christensen, Cinematographer / Editor – John Fuentes, VFX – BigFilms, Producer – Divine Film Studios). Her character is an undercover FBI agent, and in this action film, she portrays an unorthodox character that’s complex, an addict, vulnerable, and is her own worst enemy. This role challenged LeeAnne both mentally and physically; however, she’s excited to see the final product when the film is released. She proudly expresses how professional and humble the whole production team was. LeeAnne’s acting career has flourished, exploring a variety of character roles across diverse genres. LeeAnne’s transformative ability and natural talent has captured the attention of renowned directors, producers, and other industry professionals. She’s castin threeother film projects currently filming or in pre-production, and needless to say she will have a busy summer schedule.
