Headed Straight Up: The Unstoppable Rise of Bobby Thompson

The clock ticks towards 9:35 AM on a nondescript Wednesday, and the once buzzing office hub in Phoenix, AZ, gradually quiets down. The fifty strategically arranged seats face a podium at the front of an inconspicuous meeting room. An eclectic mix of hopeful faces from various walks of life eagerly awaits the start of an extraordinary faith-driven program that promises to transcend their ordinary experiences.

With eyes brimming with anticipation and hearts hungry for inspiration, they occupy every seat, transforming the room into a sanctuary of hope. Nestled between a forgotten kitchen and a convenience store, this unassuming office space is the sacred ground for Robert Thompson’s wisdom feast, served exclusively to his sales agents. A story of transformation unfolds, promising to satisfy the craving for success like never before.

Robert Thompson, the Founder and CEO of Headed Straight Up Consulting LLC, embodies a story of profound redemption — a shift from a checkered criminal past to a beacon of hope. His journey commences within the cold walls of a prison cell, where a pivotal moment propels him from a life of crime to a determined purveyor of hope committed to altering destinies.

Before diving into the world of Headed Straight Up Consulting LLC, Robert already harbored a penchant for sales and business. However, a decisive moment led him to channel all his energy into his venture.

Starting with just one agent — his wife, Jess — whom he met at a church service, Robert’s enterprise has blossomed into a thriving sales office boasting over 72 agents.

His brainchild, the Leadership In Training (LIT) program, has evolved from a mere concept to a transformative incubator reshaping the trajectories of those committed to making a difference.

Robert’s metamorphosis is even more striking given his past as a “career criminal,” dismissed by a Florida prosecutor as incapable of change. A chance encounter with a former cartel member turned Christian in a prison cell catalyzed his spiritual awakening. This encounter prompted Robert to plea to a higher power for a new identity — a plea he believes was answered as he knelt in prayer.

Sharing his newfound faith with fellow inmates sparked a transformative ripple effect, softening hardened hearts and inspiring a commitment to a new mission of love and hope. In that pivotal moment, Robert realized that the opportunity he had been running away from for his entire life was the chance to unlock the leader he always knew existed within him.

The impact of this revelation extends beyond just his narrative, permeating the essence of the leadership development program he meticulously crafted. The LIT program imparts business acumen and serves as a conduit for spiritual and emotional growth, molding average employees into extraordinary business owners poised to impact the world.

For the freedom seekers joining Robert’s office, it’s not just a sales team but a family and a realm of possibility where destinies shift and leaders emerge. Much like the mythical Phoenix rising from its ashes, Robert Thompson’s journey mirrors the city — whose name is synonymous with rebirth.

In the heart of Phoenix, a city symbolizing renewal, Thompson has ignited his redemptive program, transforming the flames of adversity into a beacon of hope for those seeking to reignite the fire of faith within themselves.

The HSU leadership initiative is a testament to Robert’s transformative touch, evolving from a solo venture to a community of over 70 agents in less than two years.

Beyond numerical growth, Robert has become a catalyst for personal and financial elevation, uplifting individuals who, like him in the past, were broken.

From rehabilitating lives to renovating destinies, Robert has cultivated leaders and team leaders within HSU. Once grappling with challenges, these individuals extend a helping hand to others, achieving financial success and redirecting profits toward a purpose greater than themselves.

Robert now leverages his success to purchase houses that will soon serve as transitional living homes — not just shelters but crucibles of change.

Among the remarkable stories emerging from HSU are those of agents initially facing homelessness or battling addiction, finding solace and revitalization under Robert’s guidance.

In mere months, lives have been turned around, providing a powerful narrative of redemption that extends beyond business success to the core of human resilience and possibility.

One of Robert’s successful students, Alex Stapley, solemnly stated, “Bobby leads from the front. I…didn’t know what I was doing for the last twenty years of my life. So, I found somebody who did and listened to what he said.”

Robert’s impact in Phoenix goes beyond personal shifts; it serves as a refreshing oasis in a city plagued with economic distress. His teams have made a substantial impact by providing government-subsidized wireless services to low-income households, a decision that aligns with his perpetually persevering character.

Beyond offering a lifeline to those seeking connection with friends, family, or resources, Bobby and his disciplined team are now channeling their efforts into a collective movement of charitable endeavors. This includes providing wisdom, guidance, and essential support such as feeding, clothing, and offering personal items to the less fortunate residents of Phoenix.

As Christmas Eve approaches, Bobby has gathered a group of volunteers to prepare a banquet of dishes for an exceptional Christmas Eve Sunday service at his office. Following the service, they will dedicate the next day to serving the intentionally leftover food to the homeless residents in the area.

He has also purchased over 100 backpacks, pairs of socks, hygiene products, and even pocket-sized Bibles harboring the Psalms of David and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to pass out for the Holiday.

Along with these Earthly items, they also plan to minister prayers of hope, healing, and calling on the powers above to break chains of addiction, mental illness, and despair.

Truly embodying the commandment of the New Testament, which states, “freely ye have received, freely give.”

Since aspiring to use his unique leadership capabilities for a more divine purpose, Bobby has set his eyes on expanding into the office space adjacent to his current location and using that to operate a ministry.

A space where he can serve his life purpose of providing a Message from his Savior to those who do not wish to simply follow in Bobby’s footsteps to success but seek a new spiritual identity, as he once sought.

I have personally witnessed the inspirational power of Bobby’s new identity, which he entirely attributes to his obedience to God.

Growing up in a church of true believers, I often heard it stated that you should follow no man unless that man leads you to Christ.

This is precisely what Bobby is doing.

Every step of his journey of rising is founded on the pure intention of lifting those around him into the Kingdom of Heaven.

His leadership qualities and ability to bring out the gifts in people have helped him guide others into defining a more purposeful life for themselves. With his dedicated office staff to keep the LDP running smoothly, ensuring a stream of fresh applicants to his program, it seems there will be no shortage of success stories attributed to Bobby’s selfless dedication to doing the work of “good vs. evil” in the Phoenix Valley.

Although Bobby has remained humble in his grandiose mission, he has also remained consistently optimistic about the future of his success.

Although much can and has been said about his leadership development program and the opportunity to elevate one’s career while making a difference to those around them, Bobby carries himself very modestly.

With an inclination to keep things simple, Bobby sums up his work with only seven words, “It’s more than just phones and tablets.”

Indeed it is, and how much more, only time will tell.

To learn more about Bobby’s journey and keep up to date with his progress, you can follow him on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

But be warned, exposure to the story of a man with Bobby’s level of dedication may elicit a strong desire in you to become more than a conqueror.

I know that it has in me.
