From Holistic Nutritionist to Co-Founder of a Revolutionary Skin Care Line

More than 40 million people living in the United States struggle with acne, with some cases being more severe than others. While some believe that acne appears during teenage years when hormones are raging, and puberty occurs, it’s not the only time people experience unwanted breakouts. One holistic nutritionist turned co-founder of a revolutionary skincare line knows the frustrating experience of breaking out in adulthood all too well. Kayleigh Christina started to develop cystic acne in her mid-twenties and struggled to find something that worked, despite routine visits to doctors and dermatologists.

“I tried endlessly to find a cure with help from dermatologists and doctors, but nothing was working for me. Finally, my acne got so bad that I eventually visited the San Diego Acne Clinic, where I met Danielle Gronich. We bonded during my routine visits to the office and eventually developed the CLEARSTEM Skincare line,” shared Kayleigh Christina. “There are many things that set our line apart from other products on the market. We’ve developed high-quality products with non-toxic ingredients that target numerous skincare concerns that most people have, including aging, acne, and scarring. We care about treating the skin, but also about improving wellness to fight acne from the inside out.”

For Kayleigh Christina, having good skin was important. However, the cystic acne that appeared on her skin started taking a toll on her self-esteem and confidence. While meeting with Danielle Gronich and having continued discussions, she realized the importance of paying attention to what you put on your skin. Many products marketed to acne sufferers contain harsh ingredients that can cause more irritation. In addition, many of these ingredients are toxic and lead to additional skin issues instead of solving the initial problem. Most consumers don’t know that many of the products advertised to people with acne aren’t nearly as efficient as the companies claim.

“You start to wonder if your skin will ever go back to looking how it did before the acne appeared. I understand the frustration of dealing with skincare problems, and that’s the reason I’ve done my research and worked hard alongside Danielle to develop a skincare line that works without clogging pores or contributing to irritation,” said Kayleigh Christina. “I’ve learned to reflect on my experiences, celebrate the setbacks that were all a part of the process, and maintain positive energy while focusing on developing a system that can benefit thousands of people across the country. I want people to know that it’s possible to fight acne and achieve clear skin using high-quality products containing healthy, nourishing ingredients.”

As a nutritionist and wellness expert, Kayleigh Christina vows to positively impact the community while helping others achieve clear skin and become more confident.
