Gap Tax Services: Making Tax Prep, Bookkeeping, And Entity Formation Easy And Painless Even During A Pandemic

Husband and wife Obi and Belinda Ndu created the successful franchise Gap Tax Services. Gap Tax Services is a perfect example of the great things that can happen when three motivated, like-minded entrepreneurs come together. Specializing in tax preparation, crypto currency taxes, bookkeeping, and entity formation, specifically LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, and 501c3, the tax software company has created a unique system, Gap Tax Solutions which offers qualified individuals an opportunity to license or buy into its franchise and acquire their own tax office.

“As managing partners, we have one major focus within the tax industry, which is to bring Gap Tax Services to its national customer base, and provide the specialized care and quality service they deserve,” says Nikeata Lea, Managing Partner, Securities Trainer.

As a result of the high demand and hard work, Gap Tax Solutions has not only helped customers, but the managing partners as well. In 3 to 5 months, each partner was able to bring home to their families what they used to make in a year. Since Gap Tax Solutions’ creation, its managing partners have gone on to create six figure incomes for themselves.

With bases all over the country, it only makes sense to highlight a few partners in order to support a wide customer base. Niketa Lea is the managing partner based in the Washington Metropolitan Area, as well as the company’s Securities and compliance trainer. Eric Eve heads the company in New York and Texas, Shannon Williams is the managing partner in Atlanta and Vince serves as the COO while managing multiple offices in Florida.

Their true strength lies in their ability to pivot in unpredictable times, such as the global COVID-19 pandemic.

“It was a tough job of figuring out for the entire company how to transition from in-person to remote services, while still being able to provide the personalized care for our clients they have come to expect from us.  The most important thing to us is creating a system where all our processes are smooth and seamless, all while keeping the quality of personalized service that our customers have become accustomed to,” says Vince Taylor, COO of Gap Tax.

Despite the challenges, Gap Tax Services has dominated the tax marketplace because of their unparalleled service, accuracy, and quality work before the pandemic. They have proven they can do the same during the pandemic, and intend to carry this forward post-COVID.

Keeping a business afloat during these times takes a good deal of motivation and inspiration. The managing partners at the helm understand the importance of this, and have been careful in selecting things that matter to push them forward. For them, it’s all about others, as they cite their families as motivation, and their clients as inspiration.

“Starting this business allowed us to do the things that we love and take care of our family. We knew that we could offer our clients a concierge style of handling financial matters.  Taxes and bookkeeping is not usually looked upon as a sexy business, but we understand how important it is to our clients’ everyday well-being and comfort.  It makes our day when we make it so easy for our clients that they completely forget that we were managing their finances! It’s our goal to make it that easy for them,” says Eric Eve, Managing Partner.

Not only are they helping their clients with their taxes, they also have the GAP TAX College. GAP TAX College is a program with three different course levels designed to teach you how to become an expert tax preparer. They equip you with all the knowledge you need and a strong team behind you to help you reach your goals. You can check out their courses here to learn more.

In addition to our 2,700 square feet location in Florida  the coming year they are opening a 5,000 sq feet location in  Georgia that will focus on virtual tax prep services, along with continuing to expand their corporate tax practice, bring their tax, software and bookkeeping services to even more clients, and pursue other additional services that they know their clients would benefit from. Above all else, Gap Tax Services will think of their clients’ needs first.

“We are grateful for the daily growth that comes with business ownership, and the success and opportunities this business has brought our partners and look forward to years of continued development,” say Obi and Belinda Ndu, Founders.
