Giving Digitized Introduces a Better Way to Raise Support Online

Digital technology has enabled the for-profit sector to reach far into the future and experience the best that innovation offers today. But it’s safe to say that innovations on the non-profit side have been all but lacking in the past. Thankfully, there has been a recent push in charity-based innovations with the rise of services like Giving Digitized to help non-profit organizations adapt to the new reality.

Giving Digitized is a system that provides a one-click giving solution to donors and recipients. “We created an application that makes One-Click Giving Back a reality,” shares Shazia Peeran, founder of the inventive solution for charities and givers. “It’s a marketplace connecting those in need with those who can provide.”

As per reports, the Giving Digitized platform has helped organizations cut down planning and deployment time of supply drives by as much as 21%, allowing them to run programs more seamlessly and frequently. It also makes it easier for people who give, given it emphasizes greatly simplifying the user experience and delivering on that front. Accordingly, over twenty-seven charities in nine different cities around the country have now used it to raise supplies on National Days of Service day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 9/11 Memorial Day, and other pre-set occasions such as the ongoing Back-to-school drive & the upcoming coat drive. In addition, Giving Digitized has been used to help raise supplies for local homeless shelters, transitional housing, community centers, and other worthy causes over the past year.

The company’s vision is to introduce all charities to a new way of giving in a highly digitized ecosystem. The world is shifting toward digital platforms and mobile innovations, and people are already starting to prefer services that allow for easier transactions. This shift is true not only for e-commerce but even in donations and charitable giving. Giving Digitized allows for non-profits to ride that wave and see better results. Through the year, the app helped provide supplies for hundreds of families and up to 34,550 meals in the community through its seamless in-kind donation app.

Giving Digitized hopes to mobilize more campaigns and fund initiatives that impact local communities and beyond by bridging worthy causes and avid givers through a seamless technology. Accordingly, the feedback has been positive for the giving platform. “Giving Digitized has helped make giving in-kind donations easy by bringing people together with a platform that builds products that serve our community,” shares one Volunteer Coordinator and Community Liaison at York Street Project. “We love Giving Digitized and encourage others to discover the benefits of it as we did.”

On top of having a secure gateway to send and receive in-kind donations, Giving Digitized has embedded a set of other valuable functions that make the in-kind donation management process more seamless, including a digital drop-off form, community request and distribution success metrics, resource management for multiple location initiatives, case management, and volunteer engagement features, to name a few.

The company’s short-term goal is to reach over a million individuals through various virtual drives and expose them to the world of virtual giving. Overall, Giving Digitized seeks to push non-profit work further and enable individuals and groups to mount efforts to help those in need without the stress and friction of manually raising money online.
