Hans Kennedy and adapting to COVID times – ABOUT COMPASS

Due to covid closures in Los Angeles and New York, Hans decided to move to Miami, where he managed to get his real estate license. “I always had a great interest in doing this from my involvement in the housing of Scandinavian students for 8 years while still doing nightlife”.
His housing company provided housing for model agencies as well. He would occasionally get a call from one of his Wall Street clients to ask him if he would do the interior decoration for their apartments. “It was only natural for me to go into real estate as I used to take great pride in making people feel at home.”
Today Hans Kennedy works for Carl Gambino and Associates in Miami via COMPASS. Carl Gambino is a renowned real estate agent in Los Angeles who specializes in finding and selling homes to A-List celebrities such as Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez, Jonas Brothers, to name a few.
COMPASS is building the first modern real estate platform, pairing the industry’s top talent with technology to make the search and sell experience intelligent and seamless. “Our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world,” says their webpage.
With more than 18,000 agents, COMPASS is now the country’s largest independent real estate brokerage, present in almost all the big American conurbations.
Hans’s way of life perfectly matches the real estate’s one: “My goal is to be useful and to be a concierge to those around me, where they feel like they can come to me with every need possible, and I will be the one to connect them. I like to bridge the gaps for people and give them what they are looking for. Currently, I want to find them a place in the world to belong to and give them the full service of whatever they are looking for. I either have it or know someone who does” he adds.
Mentioning Kennedy, the company’s “headhunting” department says: “Having spent a great deal of time in New York and Los Angeles, and now based in Miami, Hans has garnered not only in-depth familiarity with these various cities but also formed intricate relationships through his hospitality work. From collaborating with today’s most prestigious hospitality groups, such as Tao Group, SBE, H-Wood Group, and EMM Group, Hans worked to ensure that high-profile clients were catered to and entertained from securing difficult-to-get reservations, to orchestrating private events and acting like an all-around concierge. Today, Hans still enjoys showing old friends and new acquaintances an unforgettable night on the town, while never wavering in his client-first approach.”
