dre wells

Dre Wells is a hip hop artist born and raised in Gary, Indiana. He’s wrote, produced, and has been working behind the scenes for several years due to being in the military. Yes, you’ve heard it correctly. He’s a army combat veteran now retired and getting back into his passion of music.

Today he would like to present his project “Vibes”. Vibes consists of 6 tracks based in Texas. It tells a story of love, heartbreak, and recovery. Five of the six tracks are produced by J. Patterns. With the sixth being produced by Dopant Beats. Dre takes you through the motions of falling in and out of love throughout the project. With the track “Alexis Interlude” explaining why “the reason he can’t love and he’s been heartless to his exes”. If you haven’t heard the project it’s available on all platforms for your streaming pleasure.

If you like Vibes and his other material be sure to reach out to him on his socials (Instagram) (Twitter) (Facebook) and tell him I sent you. To wrap up the article I’ll ask a few questions.

What was the process of working on the project?
It was fun overall. I was browsing through beats and stumbled across the beat for “Moving On”. Once I found that I started to piece everything together. I would write in the morning and record in the evenings. I liked the melodic vibes of the beats so I called it “Vibes”. I went with a theme we can all relate to a love story. Some of the beats had that Texas sound so I also incorporated that into the process.

What’s next on your agenda of things to do?
Honestly, I just want to get wiser and stronger daily. I dabble in a ton of different endeavors. I just like to stay booked and busy. Outside of that I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to travel and just enjoy each other’s company. Also expect new music in the near future.

Anything else you would like to share with our readers?
Yes, it would be we only miss the opportunities we don’t attempt”. Don’t be afraid of trying we all fail at times what matters is how we get back up and learn from our mistakes. Don’t let fear stop you from being successful. Lastly, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to share my music and words with others. I truly appreciate it.
