How Denver Family Counseling Services Empowers Individuals to Overcome Mental Trauma

The fight against mental trauma, anxiety, and PTSD can be long and challenging because of the complex nature of psychological issues. As life continues to throw curveballs at us, it can be difficult to keep up with the changing landscape. Fortunately, Lesley Goth, Founder of Denver Family Counseling Services, is here to help individuals and families through these difficult times.
Denver Family Counseling Services LLC empowers people to take control of their lives and focus on managing their mental health. This firm thrives with the passion of helping people achieve freedom from what holds them back and transition to a healthier, happier state of being.
The Battle Against Mental Trauma
The dream started in 2004, when Lesley Goth, PsyD., started the practice of specializing in eating disorders treatment. From the start, Lesley knew that her practice had to be founded on the principles of caring and compassion — not just a rushed hour of service.
Since then, Denver Family Counseling Services LLC has grown exponentially to become a leading provider of mental health services. Lesley and her team understand what their clients are dealing with and provide comprehensive support for those seeking personal growth.
“My passion is to help people face their demons and find healing. When you have a team that genuinely cares about you, healing is possible. Traumas can be processed. Anxiety and depression can be managed. Losses can be grieved. And finally, people can have the life they deserve,” Lesley Goth said.
Lesley brought on other like-minded licensed therapists to spread the net even wider. Now it’s a team effort to reach and help as many people as possible on their journey to self-discovery and freedom.
However, it goes beyond the techniques of traditional therapy. Denver Family Counseling Services LLC provides individualized and creative approaches to help people overcome their mental trauma, anxiety, and PTSD. They utilize a variety of modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based therapies, EMDR therapy, and more.
“It’s not just about technique and showing up for our clients. We invest in our clients and really care about the people who entrust us with their very vulnerable and personal struggles. We take mental health and the quality of life very seriously and believe everyone deserves healing, health, and the best relationships possible,” Lesley further adds.
