What is Embedded Insurance?

Here’s how it works: Once a consumer has selected an insurance product through their point-of-sale transaction, they are met with a post-sales experience that includes needs matching and upsell/cross-sell support. For example, let’s consider a customer who opts for travel insurance. After opting in, the customer receives an invitation to review the details of the selected product. Upon accepting the intivation, they are presented with a clear overview of the policy details for the embedded travel insurance, along with optional add-ons (like additional baggage coverage or extended medical travel benefits). Finally, the customer can proceed to checkout, selecting any add-ons and completing the purchase of the embedded product seamlessly.

In essence, Embedded+ not only streamlines the insurance process but also enhances the overall customer experience, ensuring individuals can make informed decisions and tailor their coverage to meet their specific needs.
