How Gigaroo is Reimagining the Broken Service Industry and its 144% Turnover Rate

Today’s service industry suffers from 144 percent of employee turnover. The backbone of this industry is GenZ, the next wave of young professionals born between the mid-1990s and 2010. Gigaroo, an innovative startup, has disruptive technology enabling GenZ to achieve financial stability. The company is focused on repairing the broken employment system to help GenZ workers thrive within the service industry with its go-to-market strategy.

An average service industry business, such as a restaurant or cafe, can lose up to $250,000 per year due to employee turnover. Gigaroo provides a unified platform that matches employees to employers in the service industry and keeps and retains them for the long run.

Adir Oren, the co-founder and CEO of gigaroo, explained how the company’s proprietary technology works: “One of the key elements for this high turnover is the mismatch between employee and employer expectations. In the post-COVID job market, the name of the game is high flexibility. We have developed a disruptive technology that enables the matching and retention process.”

According to Oren, employers should provide workers with flexibility in shift length, days, and start times. Gigaroo helps set those expectations between employees and employers, matching both with flexible roles that suit their needs.

“We are making sure, with our advanced technology, that only candidates that fit over 80 percent of job requirements will be matched to an employer,” Oren says. “We have an additional filtering process that helps make sure our matches are over 76 percent successful.”

In addition to the platform’s matching process, there must be a retention program. This helps keep GenZ workers engaged while keeping employers happy. to

“Gigaroo is a game changer,” says Darrel Oribello, the owner of Sazan Raman in Austin, Texas.

Founded in 2022 by renowned Israeli entrepreneurs Adir Oren and Yair Almagor, gigaroo is headquartered in Austin, Texas. The company’s research and development center is located in Israel. Gigaroo plans to raise its seed round in the coming months. For further information about gigaroo and its innovative solutions, please visit gigarooapp.com.
