How Lady Paz Ampofo Inspires Young People With Her Innovative Ideas

Lady Paz

Lady Paz Ampofo is a serial tech entrepreneur and an activist. She is a young, ambitious and influential entrepreneur who has used her platform to empower young people. She launched VLOO and successfully scaling multiple tech companies from scratch. Her benevolent side manifested early on in her life, working with various charities to feed the homeless and support them. She has also worked alongside politicians to combat youth unemployment and racial/gender inequality.

Early Beginnings

From a young age Lady Paz has always been entrepreneurial. She started her own hair company in secondary school. A devout Christian, she describes her faith as being a driving force pushing her to excel in her task, to push the young to bring out their talented sides.

She discovered her passion for tech at university where she met with British politicians, vice chancellors to create innovative initiatives using technology to increase employability for young people.  Lady Paz is a driven and very resilient even when encountering hardship in her journey as an entrepreneur. Being in a male dominated industry had its setbacks. “In Fact the lack of representation of women was another fight I had to face”. Lady Paz had setbacks, struggling with rejection on her previous project, When asked about this episode she said, “I had too many reasons to quit. Facing rejection was a humbling experience for me. I had to build the tenacity to keep going when it looked like I had failed. It taught me resilience and pushed me to strive for excellence.”

The Future

Lady Paz Ampofo is dedicated and passionate about creating innovative projects for the youth through mentorship, training and developing skills. As an Entrepreneur, she wants to create more jobs for young people to increase employability. She has also started a leadership programme called  “R3 Progressive Thinkers” to reform and encourage progressive thinking among young leaders to create social change.

This global leadership initiative is to build the most dynamic network of young leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs in create social innovation. This global project will attract talents and diverse skill sets, the plan for the next three years is to scale up and extend the reach to over 100,000 young people and producing 100 successful global leaders.
