How Lash Trainer, Cosmina Esanu is Helping Lash Artists Build a 6-Figure Lash Extension Business from the Ground Up

One of the most favorable benefits of running your own lash extension business for beauty lovers is the freedom and flexibility to be your own boss and the ability to choose how much you earn.

However, as with any business, it’s important to establish a robust plan before starting a lash extension business. Factors such as tools, techniques, product knowledge, application, and sales and marketing must be taken into consideration.

Becoming omnipresent online

Cosmina Esanu is one of the most highly-sought after lash trainers and is certified by the Massachusetts Cosmetology Board. As a licensed esthetician, she is also a renowned figure in the beauty industry as a YouTuber and Podcast Host of the highly-rated podcast: Full Time Lash Artist.

Her book “Look At You Now -The Ultimate Playbook to Building a 6-Figure Lash Extension Business from the Ground Up”, dives deeper into how to become omnipresent online and go from hunting for clients to becoming hunted.

Whether you choose to operate your lash extension business as a side hustle or a 6-figure business, the fastest and easiest route is to follow the steps and processes laid out by an expert who has walked the same path you are starting on.

Starting from humble beginnings

Born in Romania, Cosmina immigrated to the United States with her husband with only $500 in her pocket. She started her career as a lash artist while running a full-time commercial cleaning business and attending school at the same time. She was obsessed with beauty ever since she was a child, and she decided to start her career as a lash artist.

Now, Cosmina runs her own salon in Boston and is one of the most highly-sought after lash trainers to offer exclusive training programs worldwide. The idea to help others build a 6-figure lash extension from the ground up came about when she encountered a challenge early on in her journey: finding consistent, high-quality lash training and a noticeable lack of lash mentors to help guide her.

From there, Cosmina made the decision to act independently, acquire the necessary products, and launch her own lash-training program, Limitlashes Academy. Through personal experience, training, and perseverance, the expert Lash trainer covers the lash extension business fundamentals such as:

  • Pre-Application Consultation & Customer Expectation
  • Sanitation & Sterilization
  • Tools, Products & Disposable
  • Applying Lashes On The Mannequin
  • LIVE – Applying Classic Lashes On A Real Model
  • Lash Thickness, Curl, Length
  • Fast vs Slow Adhesive
  • Practicing The Fans
  • LIVE – Applying The Lash Fans On A Real Client
  • Lash Business, Social Media, Sales, Marketing

Over 100+ students certified through Limitlashes Academy

Cosmina is committed to helping others create a more seamless and enjoyable journey, as well as avoid the same challenges she encountered herself, stating, “even though I invested over $15,000 in getting my esthetician license, I still didn’t learn the proper techniques to start a lash business.”

As a well-known and trusted player in the lash industry, Cosmina has now helped over 100 students become certified lash artists through Limitlashes Academy in the last 2 years alone.
