From an early age Michael Acevedo, Pedacitos Blog founder, was captivated by the art of storytelling and the value different stories hold in creating a culture. This fascination led him to work as an Imagineer for Disney, where he contributed to creating immersive experiences based on the stories we all grew up with. His interest grew even stronger as he traveled to nearly thirty countries and listened carefully to the stories that turned the ordinary into the noteworthy. 

Although he has always known the power of a good story, Acevedo discovered how far one person’s story could actually go when he started Pedacitos Blog. Pedacitos is the Spanish word for pieces or little bits, and just like pieces of a puzzle connect to reveal a work of art, individual stories come together to create something beautiful. By reading these stories, you can see how all the pieces fit together and discover something new to experience in your community or a place to look forward to visiting in your travels.
