How Sanelo Is Helping People Live & Thrive In New Places Around The World

With each passing day, the world becomes more and more globalized. And though we may feel connected to the most remote pinpoints of the planet, the reality is that uplifting your life and moving to a totally new place may not be relatively as easy as it seems. Still, we hope to make the process seamless for whatever reason we decide to move abroad–be it curiosity, love, searching for better opportunities, or new jobs. And that is where Sanelo comes in.

Sanelo, a division of Santa Fe Relocation Services, empowers relocating individuals to take charge of their move and free up their time for the more essential things in their life. “The logistics and relocation industry has been seen as a messy legacy business due to the fragmented nature of how each local market operates in logistics,” explained Sanelo’s Managing Director, Lee Quenault. “And the time is ripe with an upcoming class of start-ups who are disrupting the industry through digital transformation.”

Quenault spent twenty years building customer experiences before moving to Santa Fe Relocation. When the opportunity to join the Global Mobility industry came, he was excited to leverage his B2C (business to consumer) experience to improve customer experience.

“I’ve always been passionate about putting the customers at the center of the business,” he said. “Since joining Santa Fe, there has been a shift in global mobility trends where the rise of start-ups and SMEs have contributed to more individual moves. And this has allowed me to deploy my passion and experience surrounding the individual. And that was how and why Sanelo was born.”

The Mission of Sanelo At Its Core

Sanelo was born out of an inherent need in the moving industry. “The logistics and relocation industry has been seen as a messy legacy business due to the fragmented nature of how each local market operates in logistics,” said Quenault. “And the time is ripe with an upcoming class of start-ups disrupting the industry through digital transformation.” It is safe to say that Sanelo now remains at the forefront of this relocation wave.

The Most Rewarding Aspect of Sanelo’s Creation

Creating a brand that puts individuals in the driving seat has been most rewarding for Quenault. Sanelo’s business model allows its customers to customize their relocation journey based on their needs and priorities, and personalization is a powerful customer satisfaction tool.

“The people who thrive in their new homes are the ones who have gotten everything they need to move home happy,” he said. “Being with our customers every step of the way keeps us informed of their experience with us, which keeps us effective in meeting their future needs.”

How Sanelo Differs From Other International Relocation Services

Sanelo seeks to empower individuals to make moving more seamless, explains Quenault. “We want our clients to have moving experiences tailored to their personal needs. We aim to enhance further the bespoke relocation journeys that we offer through an integrated marketplace of various relocation and moving services for our community,” he continued.

“The future of global mobility in a post-COVID world is littered with emerging dilemmas, but we see these as disruptive factors that spur innovation and are excited and confident in developing smart solutions. And a huge part of it is taking the messiness of all the different moving parts of moving your identity and possessions and working with internal and external tools to simplify the relocation journey for both the customer and us.”

This can be as simple as optimizing the best price or shipping duration, arranging to move their pet, vehicle, or another special request, among other details of a client’s moving journey.
