My Name is Ben Bader and I’m the founder of Sports Trainer Marketing. We are the world’s first Marketing company in the sports training industry. We have worked with industry leaders including DJ Sackmann, Ganon Baker, Jordan Lawley, Tony Franklin, and Mike Dunn. Our journey started working with local basketball training companies, and we have since expanded to the info product space. We help our clients scale by building high-converting sales funnels, email flows, and paid ads.
What does Sports Trainer Marketing do?
We work with local sports trainers as well as big personal brand trainers to help them scale. We do everything from ads, email, and funnel builds (which are our bread and butter). We make the process of going from nothing to a validated offer to scaling, simple and efficient. Sports training businesses are what we know. We are not some “we work with everyone” type of agency. We know youth sports businesses inside and out. Since we’ve started, we’ve been able to help around 100 sports trainers. There are not really any other agencies that work specifically with youth sports trainers, we implement our systems inside their business and get them crazy results. We’re simply the best at what we do, and we have the results to back it up.
How did you start your business?
I had just dropped out of college and was dabbling in different businesses for a little bit. Lead generation agencies were the big thing on Twitter at the time and I decided to blindly listen to everyone (I didn’t know better). After growing up as a basketball player I naturally gravitated toward working in the sports niche so I just picked it and dove in. I started prospecting in Facebook groups, knocked down a couple of dominos, and have scaled from there.
Where are you now in terms of accomplishments?
Since launching Sports Trainer Marketing, we have generated hundreds of thousands of dollars for our clients. We’ve helped some clients hit their first $25,000 month, and others scale to 6 figures a month. Many of the local trainers we work with will double their clientele within 3-4 months. All in all, we have worked with over 100 clients in the sports training industry.
Any tips you learned along your journey that you’d like to share?
So this applies to any B2C personal brand with a course/ coaching program. You don’t need a huge personal brand to scale an info product. Build a unique offer. Optimize your page. Run ads.
Also, everyone only talks about high ticket offers. There’s money in inexpensive stuff too. You can then upsell your low-ticket customers your high-ticket stuff. Be creative and think outside the box.
