As we progress, society and the various industries involved create new trends that eventually become the norm for many, resulting in uniformity and sometimes conformity. However, some aren’t too keen on being a part of the monotony of society.
One such group of people is the Nomads. They are a collective of artists and creative entrepreneurs who banded together to revolutionize the digital age which they saw would be based on monotony and conformity which is prevalent in the entertainment and creative industries nowadays.
“We see ourselves as the glitch among the circuitry of society and want to be the front runner in developing the next generation of artists and creative entrepreneurs that lead the modern entertainment and creative industries,” they said.
The group’s music genre is grounded on hip-hop. In the past year or so, they were able to release two singles titled Gatsby and Bape.
As breakthrough artists and entrepreneurs, the group values versatility to help them stand out from the music industry as well as to adapt to the changing times.
“Being versatile is very important in the modern music industry because it allows us to incorporate our brand in many different industries. With this, we can create many sources of income and are expand our connection base to build many businesses of the brand’s name,” the group said.
Starting and Branching Out
The group’s career started in the town of Sylva, North Carolina. Each member understood that there was a lack of both quality entertainment and opportunities to grow outside of the structure of their university.
For the upcoming year, the brand is working on the improvement and expansion of its independent rollout process as well as the development of basic financial accounts such as index funds, Roth IRA, and more.
But aside from that, the Nomads are also set to expand their brand in the music scene by putting out a song that’s fully packaged through the brand’s independent rollout process. It also aims to build a wider connection base than what they already have.
The Challenges of Being an Independent Brand
Although the Nomads are here to revolutionize the entertainment and creative industries, it did not come without challenges.
“There are many pitfalls in being an independent brand within the entertainment industry but with perseverance, persistence, and a positive mindset we can weather these storms and push forward,” they said.
But aside from having perseverance and a positive mindset, another aspect that has helped the brand flourish from the last two years is the importance of planning and organization. With proper planning, the brand was able to successfully release major singles.
In the next few years, the Nomads are pursuing their goal of putting an end to the monotony and conformity in society nowadays and encourage more to break free from the norm so they can express themselves fully.
