How to Achieve Business Success While Living Everyday Life with Chronic Illness, According to Tatiana Skomski

More than 120 million people living in the United States struggle with chronic illness, which is nearly half of the population. These chronic illnesses vary from person to person and may include osteoporosis, depression, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and more. And, while many people are suffering from illnesses that can cause a myriad of severe symptoms, some chronic illness sufferers refuse to allow their conditions to hold them back from pursuing their dreams and making a difference in life.

One of those people is Tatiana Skomski, a public figure known for building a six-figure business online. She focuses on providing business coaching and mentorship to others, like herself, who have big dreams in life and don’t want to let a diagnosis hold them back. While diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis six years ago as a college student getting ready to start working in corporate marketing and PR, she always knew she wanted more in life. But, of course, she wasn’t sure what the future had in store for her because of her diagnosis.

“I was experiencing serious burnout while working in a corporate environment, so I started to think about what I could do to make a living while sharing my knowledge and helping others. It was then that I came up with an innovative idea to start a business coaching business where I help other people with chronic illnesses learn how to start online coaching businesses,” shared Tatiana Skomski. “As someone with a chronic illness, I know how much of a toll traditional corporate life takes on the body. So, my goal is to help people earn a living while making a difference and doing what they love from home.”

Before starting Chronic Business Academy, a group coaching program designed for people with chronic illnesses that don’t know how to get started but want in on the online coaching industry, Tatiana Skomski worked for other entrepreneurs. She spent five years helping business owners transform their brands, gaining a lot of experience along the way. She now uses her corporate skills, experience, and knowledge when coaching other entrepreneurial hopefuls and helping them understand the secrets to success despite the conditions they’ve been diagnosed with and experience each day.

Having the opportunity to help other people with chronic illnesses living across the country has significantly impacted Tatiana Skomski. She has grown her business without sacrificing her health because of her passion for sharing knowledge while making a difference and taking on a leadership role.

The Tati Skomski Company is a six-figure business striving in today’s society, proving that a chronic illness diagnosis isn’t a life sentence or reason to give up on your dream. “If there is anything I would like people to learn from my story, it’s that you don’t have to let a chronic illness hold you back in life. The corporate lifestyle took its toll on me, so I decided to do something about it,” shared Skomski. “Choosing to start my business was the best decision I’ve ever made because of the positive impact it makes on the lives of many and my personal everyday health with chronic illness.”
