How to Grow Social Media Accounts with Jordan Mangan (buckethatboyyy)

As Social media platforms are increase in popularity, the revenue that is associated with them automatically increases. With one billion users on Instagram, over one billion users on Tiktok (150 countries), and 186 million daily users of Snapchat, it is important to realize the financial profit that is available due to the demand. I was able to interview Jordan Mangan, often noticed as buckethatboyyy. He was able to gain over 100,000 followers on the social media platform Tiktok.

Q: What is the majority of the social media population doing wrong?

“When you realize that just posting isn’t enough to grow, you are on the right track.” Jordan explained that quality over quality is always a better move. “TRENDS!”–Trends are extremely important. Following trends, and putting your own spin on them can cause an increase in followers. Especially on Tiktok, an app all about following trends.

Q: How long does it take to gain 100K followers?

“Personally, it took me around 6 months.” For Buckethatboyy, it took him around six months to grow, but he said that there is no set amount of time. Some people grow faster than others. Thats just how the game goes. One important message he had was don’t give up. Just because you don’t get the followers right away doesn’t mean it won’t happen.

Q: Does going live really matter?

“Yes! Going live is vital to growing your fan base.” Going live allows you to personally connect with your fans. They feel closer to you because you aren’t just behind a post. They can hear your voice and see a live you that isn’t affected by “trends.”

Q: How can readers communicate with you?
